Definitely enjoyed our stroll through Naples Botanical Garden. I had not been here since the opening season. So, don't let it fool you when the title says GARDEN, it was really GARDENS. FYI-It is quite easy to find and near the downtown Naples fine shopping community.

What a delight! I was intriqued with the various gardens which represented such Brazilian and Asian gardens. It was amazing to see vegetation I was unfamiliar with, for sure. Best of all was the fact that we did not feel hurried and could chat about things other than the plants. What a glorious visit it was!

This relatively new botanical garden was a wonderful surprise to us. We had not expected it to be as well developed or established-looking. The garden has a wild part still, with signs telling you not to disturb the wild life, alligators, birds, etc., but we saw nothing, to our relief! The gardens were much bigger than we had anticipated. We spent two hours walking there, including a long stroll in the wild part, and it was a beautiful December day, sunny but not too hot.

The various areas of the gardens are themed - Brazilian, Thai, 'ruined' garden, water lilies (a large area), some with statues, mosaics, and so on. The range of plants and trees is considerable, specially given how recently the place was set up. We really loved the place, and are sure it will become one of the 'must see' places of Naples!

There is a nice children's playground with a garden theme, and a modest refreshment stand with chairs around. Plenty of seats at strategically placed locations round the garden.

I am sure the place will get better and better known before long; it deserves to. If you like plants and trees at all, GO!!

This was a nice side trip if you have more than 2 days in Naples. The garden is new and compact (recently opened) but very nicely laid out with interesting plantings. I loved the ruined temple.

It takes time to establish an impressive botanical garden. The garden is beautifully designed and is worth a visit. Children's area is fun.

First a qualifier. We are members. That considered we often take family and friends to the Garden. Many varied plant exhibits, Japanese garden, Brazilian garden, butterfly garden and children's area. Great for young and old.
