“A Feeling Of Being In The Mediterranean”
Reviewed February 12, 2014

WE Had Been Looking For A Tapas Restaurant And Saw Good Reviews On TA. We Sat Outside On A Beautiful Day. They Have 3 Or 4 WerFortside. I Have No Idea About The Interior Because I Never Went In. We Had The Chicken Croquettas Which WeRe Very Good But Would Have Like A Spicy Sauce Too Dip. We Also Enjoyed The Albondigas Which Were ExcellentAnd We Used The Extra Sauce FOr The CroQuettas. We Each Had The Catalonia Salad Which Was Only Fair. It Could Have Used A More Flavorful Dressing.

“Apple Sangria?”
Reviewed February 6, 2014

We ordered four tapas items and found most of them to be okay - nothing great. However, we didn't care for one of the dishes at all and didn't eat it. When the waitress came by and we told her, she said "everyone loves that" and walked away. No offer to take it back or exchange it for something else.
The meal started with sangria. The only fruit in it was diced green apples.
Would NOT recommend!

“Excellent Tapas at reasonable prices!”
Reviewed January 30, 2014 via mobile

This small, nicely appointed bistro features authentic Catalan specialties prepared with style by a chef who shops daily for his ingredients, in the European style. Each tapas plate we ordered was brought to us in perfect timing, as each was made. These "small" plates are actually quite generous. Between the two of us, we sampled five of them and were more than satisfied. With desert and a pitcher of an excellent sangria, the bill came to less than $60. We tipped well, because the young lady who served us was charming and professional. We are looking forward to returning here, next time with friends!

“Great for our group of 7”
Reviewed January 29, 2014 via mobile

Everyone got to try something new, some gave up long-standing food biases after one taste, everyone had a great time. Small, full, but server handled the Saturday note crowd admirably.
No one felt rushed, tho others were waiting to be seated. Smooth service, excellent selection..not a single thing I would have changed. Can't wait to come back and try something different!

“A Special Place!”
Reviewed January 4, 2014 via mobile

Cafe Barcelona is my favorite place to dine in the Naples-Marco Island area.

It is a very small place with a few added tables outside.

Don't be surprised at the other languages you will hear.

The food is made only when you order, so do not be in a hurry. You will be treated as family.

We share our salads; 6 of us shared 3. We also share our tapas, and re-order as needed when the grandkids discover something they like, which is often.

The sangria is delightful, fresh with cut up pieces of fresh fruit. We 4 adults had one pitcher for 2, and one pitcher for 4! Yum!

We especially like the cheeses served on bread. My wife likes the lamb. I love the meatballs.

Yes, we spent 3 hours there New Years Eve, started at 6 pm.

Full dinners too, just like on the Ramblas.
