The fish tacos were excellent! Fresh and flavorful, the potato fries were good. The tomato soup was delicious. I ordered a tuna salad (my mistake) it was good but overpriced. Nice, will return.

“Sea Salt has a new sister restaurant”
Reviewed February 13, 2012

....and its called Barbatella and it is simply superb. Located a few doors down on 3rd St South, this new bistro is going to turn Italian cooking on its ear in this sleepy resort town. A limited menu in the sense that they do several entrees under each heading (pizzas/meat/fish/pasta etc) and they do them ALL perfectly. Keep it short, simple and consistent and thats what they have done. The Orrechette is not to be missed...nor is the lasagna. The parma prosciutto pizza with the arugula is scary delicious.Perfectly portioned. Perfectly balanced....and if their wine list isnt broad enough for you, they will run up to Sea Salt to pilfer from their collection. Im going back for my third time in one week. Cant wait.

“Very good.”
Reviewed February 9, 2012

Liked this place alot. Food was outstanding. Service was very good. Vibe was relaxed yet sophisticated. Sat outside which was nice. Brought in a couple bottles of my own wine and wine steward was very helpful and friendly. $25 per bottle corkage a bit steep. Only downside was it was a bit overpriced. For a once-in-a-while special occassion this place is great. Otherwise, you might get poor real quick....

“Good for Lunch”
Reviewed February 7, 2012

Sea Salt occupies a great location on 3rd Street. Most of the good seating is outside on the front terrace. We had an excellent lunch , although it was highly priced for what we had. The avocado with crabmeat at $18 was of the size that one would normally expect for an appetizer rather than main dish. The fish of the day was good but at $38 was rather more than we would typically expect to pay for a lunch entree. The tomato soup was really good. Although the place enjoys a busy dinner period, we would likely only go there for lunch. The service was excellent.

“Reservations not honored”
Reviewed February 6, 2012

My husband and I made a reservation for 7:45 on our 28th Anniversary. We arrived early, checked in with the hostess, and said that we'd have some drinks at the bar while waiting for our table. We checked back in with the hostess twice, at 8:10, and again at 8:25. Both times we were told it would be another 5 minutes. At 8:40, we decided to cut our losses and leave. We were just paying our bar tab when the hostess came over to seat the threesome sitting next to us. Their reservation was at 8:30. (I found this out as we were chatting while waiting.)
I then advised the hostess that we were leaving. She apologized, but made no excuses or offers to buy us drinks. Seating a threesome only ten minutes later than their reservation while leaving the two of us to wait nearly an hour was inexcusable. We won't be back.
