“Great Cruise and Staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2012

A great relaxing cruise where you pass by magnificient homes in Port Royal. The captain was excellent at announcing the various sites. Dolphins were swimming next to the boat which was a lot of fun to see. We sat on the upper deck and had a wonderful view of everything. It leaves out of Tin City so get there early as there are lots of little shops to visit!

“Double Sunshine or Naples Princess? How to decide.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2012

Both leave from Tin City, both travel the inlets passing the mega-mansions of Port Royal and both are in the Gulf @ sunset. The Double Sunshine (double decker) is a LOT more low key-Parrot head-fun time-maybe even everyone singing- kind of boat. And you are OUTSIDE. The Naples Princess is a dinner yacht with an open deck on the third level, which is really high. For the Port Royal portion, the extra height is an advantage for viewing the mansions. One doesn't go on the Princess for the cuisine, and SOMETIMES they will let you (off season) purchase non-food passage with a la carte drinks. (drinks are a bit pricier than Double Sunshine). Other reviewers mention the dolphins along side of the D.S. We also experienced this...so maybe it's not that unusual. Narration of sights and history is better on the D.S. Both are fun..and you should take one. Naples residents often take out of towners on these boats to give one a real back door look....even it is the back door of a $47 million house. Someone has to live there.

“Nice tour worth the money”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2012

This was a nice tour of Naples and Port Royal. We had dolphins alongside the boat jumping out of the water. We saw how the other 1% live in Port Royal truly impressive. The boat had a bar, drinks were $5.00. If you are on vacation I think you would enjoy the tour. The boat holds about 100 people and everyone had a good view on 2 decks.

“So worth it!!!! :)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2012

The Double Sunshine cruise is a must-do activity when visiting Naples. I recommend taking the sunset cruise for the best pictures. The highlight of our trip was the unexpected dolphin sighting! Not just dolphins in the distance, but right next to our boat! We saw a mother and baby swimming right along the side of our boat, jumping out of the water and turning on their sides as if to say hello to all of us. We saw dolphins going out of the harbor and on the way back in. We also had the added bonus of spotting bald eagles. The crew knew their facts about the homes and wildlife and are happy answer any questions you have. It was a wonderful experience! If you are going to take the sunset cruise (the best time to go) take a jacket and sit on the top deck - it's actually warmer on top. Also, choose to sit on one of the side benches towards the back of the boat...that way you don't have to climb over people to take pictures. Enjoy your trip on the Double Sunshine! I sure did!! :)
