Great assortment of wines and appetizers. Food is wonderful and service accommodating.
Reservations are a good idea to enjoy the fine food. Reasonable and located in a fun spot.

“The early dining menu makes this a good deal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2014

This is a large restaurant with a commanding presence on Fifth Avenue that has been operating since 2000. Having eaten there about 10 years ago we have avoided going back because during season, the service can be very slow for very expensive meals. However we gave it another try and found that if you are seated by 5:45 pm, you can order from the early dining menu. The portions are probably smaller, but still very good. Two entrees come with a bottle of wine for just under $40. My shrimp carbonera was really yummy and my husband had chicken parmigiana, also good. Our friends had rigatoni with a bolognese sauce and a seafood dish that included shrimp, mussels, and something else I can't remember. Everyone liked their dinner but I loved my dinner. Salad and dessert would have been extra but we chose not to order more. The service was fast, and maybe a little too fast because we would have liked to talk more, but we felt our waiter wanted us to give up our table so he could fill it again. When we left the restaurant was very busy.

“Tapas at the Bar are Great!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 29, 2014

This is a good place to visit before 6PM for low-priced tapas at the bar, served with 1/2 price drinks by friendly and attentive bartenders. There is plenty of bar space and comfortable, elegant surroundings, and they are just steps away from Cambier Park events.

“Great Location for Outdoor People Watching”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2014

We enjoyed lunch seated in the outdoor dinning area. What a great place for watching people and soaking in the atmosphere of 5th Ave South! For the prices and location we were surprised at the slow service. We waited a bit to be seated. Once seated we waited way too long for our waiter to even visit our table. I could see no reason for this as the place was not crowed and it was about 1:30pm. I also observed a few members of the wait staff just standing around. Our waiter did not check back until we were almost finished!

One of us ordered the Liguine Pescatora. The dish was flavorful and had the right amount of seafood. The other dish ordered was a Penne Pasta with Salmon special. The sauce and presentation was also very nice. We both agreed that the pasta in both was cooked perfectly but the overall taste was too salty. The bread was hot and delicious. Their herbed olive oil for dipping was unique and very good. The prices were good for Naples. The interior seating is cozy and the bar is large and very nice. Go for atmosphere but be prepared for poor and slow service.
