Happy Hour is beer or margaritas, 2 for 1, and there was actually tequila in them ;-) Off to a great start at the bar, 15 mins wait list for a table, chatted up other patrons sitting across from us, everyone was friendly and nice. On to our booth for dinner. The hot crab dip was excellent and we're originally from Maryland so that's a high level of expectation met.
Both of us ordered grouper stuffed with crabmeat. WARNING: One of these is enough for 2-3 people. Seriously. It was a little appalling, how massive it was and that it was topped with lots of melted white cheese. I was dieting and not expecting all that. The crab stuffing (mostly bread) was 3-4 times as high as the fish and the cheese...buried the taste of the grouper. The mashed potato portions were also HUGE, seriously, and came topped with gravy. Wasn't expecting that, either. The waitress happily brought me a side of potatoes without gravy rather than removing my plate.
Service was very good, bill for food was $47, no complaints there. Next time I would order grilled grouper and hope the fish was tasty when unsheathed from the grotesque amount of stuffing and cheese piled on it. Would like to have given 4 stars, but only the happy hour, appetizer and atmosphere rated that. I'll add a photo of the entree when I can download and edit pix from the trip. Seeing is believing...
