Visiting in Mt Dora, with three generations wanting to eat together, from age 3 to 67, Italian seemed the easy answer. All of us knowing big city Italian we were leery based on past experience in central Florida.
Easily found PizzAmore (cute outside, simply but pleasant inside . . . would have sat outside except that it was rainy).
The aroma that greeted us at the door was enticing. The menu was simply Italian-American, just what we were looking for. Inventive Antipasto (as skewers rather than the usual flat plate of tired cold cuts .. with an amazing pesto sauce!), not-your-usual-tired old Caesar Salad but fresh greens made vibrant by a great dressing, garlic knots clearly made by hand and love, and a pizza that ranked among the best we have ever had, A healthy respect for the taste of garlic (real, fresh garlic, not powder nor packed in water or oil garlic) left us all savoring the meal and looking forward to our next trip to Mt Dora.
All at a reasonable price, served at a reasonable pace, by pleasant staff.
Yum, Yum, Yum
