Went today to this museum as we're all interested in cars especially my 15 yearold son and was not disappointed at all . Instantly made to feel very welcome on arrival and led into exhibit area where the lovely host gave us a detailed introduction to the museum . As well as the astonishing collection of cars there is a huge collection of automobilia ranging from numberplates , toy cars , antique petrol pumps , neon signage , old televisions , Wurlitzer .... List is endless . We've never seen such an impressive collection . Although the building is compact on entry and you'll think it'll take 5mins to walk round , we were there for over an hour , there is so much informative material available . Many thanks to Cindy for being so informative and welcoming . We'd definitely go back :)

We had a group outing of our car club visit the museum on July 10th. The museum was a great place to tour for both men and women, with LOTS of interesting memorabilia and cars as well as fantastic tour guide, Kerry Bogard, owner of the museum. It is a pleasant surprise for those who visit Mt Dora and I recommend you take the time to go over and visit.

Wow, Thank You So Much for your great review! We feel like the luckiest couple in the World to have 2 great Car Clubs come through within a few weeks that were so much fun to be with. We can't thank you enough for your unbridled enthusiasm. I promise to keep 'something new' on display so, we can keep you entertained in future visits. We will be adding two vintage Ford Coupes from 1936 and 1940 and more 'working' Black & White TVs from the 50's soon.
Good grief.....One of your club members even came back and bought a car!!! Happy Motoring!

On May 26th a group of Leisure Time Corvette Club members visited the Mt. Dora Museum of Speed. The owner provided us a guided tour of the facility which was very informative as well as helpful in understanding the reason for the vehicles and other exhibits in the museum. We were given plenty of time to see the various autos in the museum and the owner was happy to answer all of our questions. Everyone agreed it was a very enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.

Last Saturday, May 26th the Leisure Time Corvette Club from the Villages, Florida toured the Mount Dora Museum of Speed AKA Classic Dream Car museum. The owner's, Kerry & Cindy Bogard were very gracious to accept our request to tour the museum on a holiday weekend. We had 30 people on the tour and everyone was very impressed by the display of the vehicles and memorabilia from years past. Kerry was our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about every item on display from war time memorabilia to many neon signs that adorn the walls of the museum.

My husband and I recently went to the Mt. Dora Museum of Speed and were wonderfully surprised. The place doesn't look very big on the outside, but it is packed with antique cars and lots of memorabilia. It brought back many great memories for us. The cars there were painstakingly restored, you could tell that this was more than a hobby for Kerry and Cindy. Kerry did a wonderful job of explaining where he got many of his items and a little history on everything.
Mt. Dora in a great town to spend the day visiting the musuem and all the little shops that the town has to offer. Don't pass up this visit to the past.

Hi 'SheltieMom' ! We are animal lovers as well. Thank you for your kind words. I was happy you caught me during a lapse & I really enjoyed visiting with you and your husband. I only wish I had the time to take every single person on a guided tour but, time seldom permits me to do so. It's great to share common ground in all these cool, old auto antiques. Please come back and see us soon. "Wally" sends a 'high five' with his paw as well !
