“Best evening out we had on our trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2013

This restaurant has one of the best views in Zia, right at the front of the town on the edge of the hill. Nothing obstructs your view of the sunset over the hillside with the sea and the shadow of Turkey in the distance. Absolutely stunning and very romantic.
Before we ordered, we were brought fresh warm bread with home-made dips. Yummy. Our waiter was fantastic and suggested a range of small mezze plates, that were traditional without being the typical moussaka/tzatziki-type fair that you get everywhere. We trusted him completely and got lots of adventurous dishes that we wouldn't have had the chance to try otherwise. And it was completely delicious.

“Probably the Best French Fries in Kos”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2013

A visit to Zia town on Kos island should be on the to-do list, at sunset is the best. A reservation on the roof of Taverna Oromedon with a stunning view on Perimos and Kalimos is necessary. They serve traditional Greek food with excellent French fries and prepared with local and fresh ingredients. Staff is very friendly and the setting is perfect. Also, everything is clean and well maintained.

“amazing location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2013

we have eaten here three times over our holiday, the food is traditional greek but what you should really come here for is the view and sunsets. service was always excellent and the food is good, one night the slouvaki was a bit dry bit the zukkini balls were very tasty. A tip for those wanting a table for the sunset is to book as it gets very busy and you should then get a great position on the terrace.
