Upon arrival, my boyfriend and I walked into a lobby where an employee was waiting on hold for a customer- did not acknowledge or look up to notice that there were new customers in the lobby for a solid ten minutes. The customer being helped then needed to swap out coins for dollar bills which took another five minutes (not even kidding). Finally, we walk to the counter without even being greeted or asked how we were doing. Also, price charged was more than our reserved price. The employee looked at the invoice confused and after two minutes stated it was just a room charge "in case something was damaged."
Not too pleased with the outdated appearance of this hotel. Rooms are old and dark. Pictures on trip advisor are a bit deceiving.
Continental breakfast was just "okay".
This place definitely needs to work on customer service skills.
