“That's A Big Steak!”
Reviewed November 27, 2013

Had the 48oz Porterhouse as usual and I am never disappointed. I will admit I shared it with my 16-year old son, so no gloating about finishing the whole thing by myself. Started off with the bacon-wrapped shrimp and ended with the Creme Brulee trio.

Reviewed November 21, 2013

The best place for a wedding reception. Thank you, for a magical beautiful . Weddings can be
very stressful , however thanks to the staff at Shula's Steakhouse our guests of over a hundred people went home raving about our reception. Thanks to Chef Miguel Riojas the food was amazing. We had a choice of steak, chicken, salmon, or vegetarian all of the food was the best of the best. The staff from Tom, Zandra Torrico, & Alicia Bloom gave 100 % to make this wedding a meaningful wonderful occassion which appeared to be magical. Thank you, fabulous job by all.

“Halloween treat before Football”
Reviewed November 2, 2013 via mobile

Our stop at Shula's before the Thursday night football game on Halloween was very good. The Porterhouse was good medium rare but it was not the best I have had in Florida for meat quality. The ten dollar twice baked potato was the best I have ever had and would feed three all by itself. The sourdough bread was great and the service was tops. I have waited to try this meal for thirteen years and was not diss appointed. The meat was good and the way I ordered but not the best. We were not the only Bengal fans in the house this evening so I feel we still got great service and top quality food. The place is adorned with Dolphin gear from the NFLs past eras in very tastefully done from photos to the football menu. Do not miss this dining Experiance which I rank with Berns as tops in Florida.

“All it's cracked up to be...”
Reviewed August 28, 2013 via mobile

The Place To Go For Steak. There's a reason why Shula's steaks consistently rank among the best in the country. They start with the most wonderful beef, of course. But what I love most about their steaks is that they know how to cook them. When is the last time someone offered to cook for you "medium plus" - and then checked it table-side with a flashlight?! It's also a lovely and comfortable atmosphere. It reminds me of the nice dining room in the country club my parents belonged to. You should know which fork to use first for sure, but any collared shirt and khakis will suffice. I would call the atmosphere "casual elegance". A trendy catchphrase maybe, but very accurate in this instance. Everything is a la carte. And it's not inexpensive, but it is worth it. The side choices are very traditional, but elevated by their outstanding preparation. My daughters love the crab mac & cheese. The Ahi tuna appetizer is exceptional - simple, basic beautifully presented, and cold enough, which can be hard to find. The crab cakes are another Don't Miss - way more crab than cake. I also like to mop up their delicious creamed spinach with the wonderfully warm and soft rolls that come with every meal. Save room for dessert. The triple crème brûlée is to die for, served in three mini ramekins in three flavors; traditional vanilla, Grand Marnier, and Godiva chocolate - oh yeah. And of course, there is the unparalleled service. Everyone staff member is a seasoned professional. Miss Patricia, the lovely Hostess, will see that you are well seated and well treated. My favorite waiters are Ms. Pat and Mr. Rene, both of whom always maintain their consummate professionalism while making you feel like an old friend after just a few visits. There is a reason why people keep coming back. From the upscale sports photography on the walls and gentle lighting to the skilled bartenders and excellent wine list, Shula's will not disappoint. This place is old school, unpretentious and traditional steakhouse dining. I give it five stars, because six are not available.
