We stayed there from Nov 23-26 so we were able to enjoy their "stay 2 nights and get 3rd night free" promotion. What a wonderful deal! We chose this hotel because of the location. My husband used to live on Main Street (2 mins walk from the hotel) before he moved to Toronto 10 years ago and we love Main Street!! We went out at 11:30pm one night to walk on the street and felt completely safe. Main Street is probably the only place you can do that in Miami! The shops, cinema and the bakery nearby are very cute! The hotel staff were very friendly. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We used their print station to print our boarding pass and it was fast and easy. Internet (free) speed was good. Free parking with lots of space. The only thing we didn't like is that we requested a room facing the garden but we got a room facing the parking lot. When I asked them I was told that all the rooms with king size bed are facing the parking lot. That's pretty weird and we were quite disappointed because their garden is very lovely. Also, the AC in our room didn't seem to turn off when it gets too cold and I know we set the temperature right. We both got a heavy cold on the departure date. But overall, we are very satisfied with the hotel. It is totally a home away from home and I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends.

I was sorry to hear about the a/c issue you encountered and hope you both recovered from your colds quickly. We hope you to see you again real soon and we will make every effort to accomodate you with a room facing our lagoon/garden. It is one of our most unique features and my personal favorite.

We´ve stayed for 5 nights at the Shula´s Hotel from Nov 23 to Nov 28. We found the hotel located in a very pleasant neighbourhood, as Miami Lakes is full of green areas and looks like an oasis in the region. Nice stores and a vey good french-style bakery was just a few meters from the hotel´s entrance. The hotel staff was extremely friendly, especially Diane, who gave us directions and hints on the place. The room was nice, with a very comfortable king-size bed and with a terrific shower! We enjoyed a lot staying at the Shula´s and recommend it wholeheartedly.

The front desk was very courteous and helpful, even bringing one in our party a toothbrush after midnight. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, though the carpet could use updating. The location is very convenient to Landshark Stadium. The shower was awful. The water was lukewarm at best. The AC in our room was very, and I do mean very, loud. You had to crank the volume up on the standard TV (no widescreens here) just to hear over it. The bar closed at 11PM on the Thursday we were there, so we were unable to go in there after our game. Free wireless internet was provided in the room.

As a business traveler who spends more time on the road than at home, it is a pleasure to find a property that goes out of its way to make its guests feel at home. The staff is professional and responsive. I particularly enjoy the Signature Club Service. The amenities offered through this service really differentiate Shula's from other area properties. Travelers should take advantage of all of the Signature Club member amenities from the health and fitness club, continental breakfast, Monday night football and Wednesday cocktail socials.
