We sat outside; pretty much the only diners, but it gradually filled up. If you get there and you're the only table, don't worry - it's wonderful. The wine is expensive, but the "Vin de Loire" at $39 is perfectly okay. The whole roasted Baby chicken was amazing. Great service.

I've been to the Cafe des Arts in Miami Beach for the New Year's dinner. The food and service was awesome. The menu was closed price and expensive due to the occasion, so I cannot speak for the regular prices and food.

This place is wonderful. Exceptional food. Don't underestimate the place. When we walked in, we were pretty much the only people in the restaurant, usually that is not a good sign. Appetizers, main course and dessert were absolutely exquisite.

Came here after Joes Crab Shack (across the street) gave us a 60 minute waiting time.
Seemed really nice on first look, friendly waiter, nice ambience outside.
Ordered "lobster bisque" as a starter. After 15 minutes, a large bowl arrived, with a very small amount of watery, lobster-esque liquid in it. It had very little taste past the initial burst of lobster flavour.
For the main I had Roast Chicken, which also arrived after a lengthy wait.
This chicken may have been cross-bred with a quail, it was that small. Its complete lack of flavour and dryness wasn't the chicken's fault, oh no, that would be the chef.
It did come with a mushroom red wine reduction of some kind, no doubt meant to save the day of this meal, but it was not to be.
Then the bill. This, at least, arrived immediately.
We noticed right away that we'd been charged for modules et frites, which we had tried to order but were told they'd run out of. Also there were 2 Coronas on the bill, whereas we only had 1. Fair enough, mistakes happen.
The revised bill arrived. We then noticed that the chicken was $36 on the bill, and $26 on the menu. This smacks of blatant tourist ripoff, as this couldn't be an accident. There was also the petty matter of an extra soft drink on the bill. Just for fun I suppose.
We obviously did not want to leave a tip at this point, then we noticed a gratuity (somewhere between 16 and 17 percent) was also added to the bill. The manager told us that this is done on all the bills. Understandable in an area dominated by tourism, but it felt tacky nonetheless. We paid and left.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this insult to French cuisine.
