Firstly let me say that I rarely write poor reviews and always aim to find positive things from every experience. With this hotel there are positives and negatives in abundance.

We were greeted to a very warm welcome. Our bags were immediately taken to our room and our car driven away by valet parking (albeit at a cost of $20 per day). There is no parking at this hotel so please bear in mind the additional cost. Our room was very small and the bathroom tiny. There was nowhere to hang any clothing so we had to live out of our suitcases. The view was terrible. We looked out onto a neighbouring hotel with a resident tramp sleeping on a balcony. Not quite the sea or garden view we had been promised. The toilet was not working on arrival and became blocked 3 times during our 5 day stay. However it was quickly rectified on each occasion. The only good thing about the room was the large comfortable bed. There was a safe for storing valuables and a drinks fridge (very expensive). The hotel has free complimentary wifi which was very handy for keeping in touch with home. The hotel also provides complimentary beach towels which is useful. Breakfast is provided each mornIng at the adjoining restaurant called The Place. This was adequate if unexciting. One word of warning though. Please check reviews of The Place before eating dinner there because it is well known to be a bit of a scam.

My main bugbear with this hotel is the noise. Not the noise coming from the many bars in the area. I expected that. It was the noise from inside the hotel itself. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything that goes on around you. Partygoers with no regard for those trying to sleep will shout and bang doors throughout the night. One night our neighbours came home at 5am and we were treated to a full on love making session for 2 hours. It sounded like we had a porno on in our room. Very embarrassing and my pregnant girlfriend actually cried because she was so tired and couldn't sleep with the constant noise.

In summary I would say if you are a young person wanting to party all night you will find this hotel perfect. The location is excellent and it is good value. If you are looking for somewhere to relax you might choose to look elsewhere.

We stayed the Sept 21 week-end. There were 9 of us for the football game. I travel a lot and this hotel and the staff were by far the BEST I have ever experienced. Starting with Christian, Julio, Lilijana to name a few. They went above and beyond with their hospitality and generosity. The hotel was spotless and the location was incredible. Right in the heart of it. The breakfast that was included in our package was delicious and sitting there above the sidewalk eating it and enjoying the view was great. The rooms were clean and we encountered no noise at all from the action. Already planning a week end with the wives now to the same place.

Not a huge luxury hotel with alot of space, room you dont even use or huge jacuzzi tub. But it was PERFECT for just me and my husband and we will definitely return. All the staff was friendly. The rooms were always cleaned and fresh towels. They could always answer questions, recommend places to go, call taxis for us and schedule our tours. The room is just enough to fit the KING SIZE bed, but its cozy and nicely decorated. You are definitely in the middle of everything! Right on ocean drive and across from the beach ( beach chairs and towels for beach provided fresh everyday) There is noise and nightlife.

This hotel is exactly as advertised. It's in a great spot across the road from the beach. There are always people around and lots happening at night. It is a bit noisy cos of the music in the evening but you are right in the middle of the action so to be expected. I didn't find it to disruptive. The breakfast was nice with about 8 or 9 options. I did eat dinner there twice and enjoyed my meals. You have to ask for the prices on drinks as they are pricey but i think its the same up and down Ocean Drive. This hotel was an absolute bargain considering the included breakfast, free local calls and free wifi which was a bonus. My room was clean, tidy with a great comfy bed. However the bathroom was tiny. The staff were all lovely and helpful. All made for a great first time visit to Miami. I would definitely recommend it.

This is probably a party-goers dream. You're right in the middle of everything. If I was 20 and not 28 and with my friends instead of my fiancee it probably would have been amazing. The rooms are small and the bathroom is closet sized.
