I found this hotel through a TravelZoo coupon and was thrilled to find out it lived up to the expectation, especially for the discounted price I scored. First off, the location in the middle of EVERYTHING on Collins (and a block from the beach) is top notch. Convenience when you're staying in SoBe is key, and for the times you do need to go somewhere not within walking distance, having the on-hand 5-series BWM (with a very polite and friendly driver) is awesome.

Staff: The front-desk staff is also friendly (not at all pretentious, like some SoBe hotel staff) and helpful. I also was pleased w/ the service of the bellmen and valet. The waitstaff for the roof pool-deck is the only person I'd rate "so so". Most regulars know that tipping is included in all Miami bills but some staff purposely don't inform their customers so they'll get double-tipped (this was something she was guilty of, not to mention the service being slow - which partially could be because there is no restaurant or bar up near the pool … she had to go back down to the ground floor).

Facilities/Amenities: The art deco style of the hotel is super cute and the lobby area is very chic. The fact that this small of a hotel has a pool is a nice plus, but compared to all the real luxury hotels in South Beach, this pool and rooftop deck area is lacking. BUT, good news is that they allow you complimentary beach access through their sister hotel across the street (Raleigh). I asked if that meant we could also use the pool at the Raleigh or the SLS (their other sister hotel) and sadly, they said Redbury guests could not. HOWEVER, that being said, I think so long as you act like you belong (and dress/style yourself appropriately) it isn't all that difficult to get in to one of the other hotel's pools. Me and my friend didn't have trouble hanging out at SLS pool one day - just walked in like we belonged, ordered drinks, and looked the part.

ROOMS: This is the best part - the rooms here are enormous for South Beach standards and everything is brand new. They are very nicely designed and stylish, love the record player, and Bluetooth [red!] speakers. Bathrooms are also huge w/ double sinks and super comfy robes. Beds are very comfortable.

Overall, I was very pleased with this hotel and would recommend it. I only deducted one star b/c of the pool area and also a snafu w/ my credit card being overcharged (and having to talk w/ about 4 different representatives to get it corrected). I think if you can get the room at least $100/night under the luxury hotels across the street on the ocean, it's totally worth it!

Thank you for such a great review! I am sorry to hear about the wait staff up on our rooftop pool. Please know that your comments are taken very seriously and the situation will be addressed. Since we are so new there are some areas we are not 100% in just yet, but I can assure you that by this time next year the roof top deck will be a new hot spot in Miami! Once again, my apologies for your billing troubles there must have been a little glitch in system somewhere. We strive for a smooth and seamless check in / check out process. I hope you can come back and visit us again once we finish with our little additions, I would love to hear some more feedback!

Nice Big and clean rooms... Location is great, too. We stayed in courtyard view room, this is nice because of nearly no traffic noise. Nice pool area. That's it for the positive part...
Actually, it is hard to see the weather outside because you are just looking to the next wall and no sun. Plenty of space in the room but nothing to put the suitcase on or sitting chair. No refill of cream and shower gel for three nights... Better you are takeing your stuff with you. And worst thing is that it is very noisy. You hear the other People walking, smashing the doors... We would not return.

From the moment you arrive at the Redbury (we rented a car) you are greeted by friendly, well trained associates who make you feel at home. My wife and I arrived early so we took advantage of some lunch in the bar at Lorenzo. This would be the first of three great meals in a two day stay. Lorenzo is a cool Italian bistro near the sea devoid of the Miami Beach tourist trap atmosphere. While we were waiting for our room we were informed that we had been upgraded to a Collins Avenue view. When we arrived in our room there was very nice bottle of rose sparkling wine with a note signed by nearly all the staff. Let me personally thank Vanessa who knew it was a special occasion. She and all the associates made sure that it truly was! A couple of comments about the room - no noise even on Collins Street, fantastic bed, great shower, wonderful robes/towels and neat retro vibe. The couple of times I called for something, it was delivered immediately. Top shelf service...
The two dinners at Lorenzo were 5 star. Awesome lamb ribs, grilled octopus, etc. and a wine list where you could find some jewels under $65 a bottle. We ate at the bar each time and Aldo was as good a waiter and bartender as you could find anywhere. Cudos to him, Mike and to Jonathan the GM for creating a wonderful place to drink and dine. I had researched several other restaurants before our trip, but we never ate anywhere else. Enough said.
Thank you again to the Redbury. I have traveled to over 50 countries and the service at this hotel is among the best I have ever encountered. We cannot wait to return - 10 stars out of 10stars!

My husband & I love visiting South Beach. We've stayed at 7 different properties in the area. The Redbury is wonderful. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay special. Excellent bartenders. Had a 2nd story room right on Collins and noise wasn't an issue. Having the amenities at Raleigh seal the deal for this new property. Highly recommend!

Very nice newly renovated property. Excellent staff, clean rooms, awesome mattress and pillows and relaxing roof op pool. Also enjoyed the beach chairs/towels and the restaurant at their sister hotel, "The Raleigh". Very talented chef with poolside dining.

Our rooftop pool is one of my favorite common areas for guests to mingle or just relax in the sun. With the beach just across the street I find that not many people take advantage of the serenity near the pool area. Stayed at the Redbury 2 nights during SuperBowl weekend. Had stayed at the Raleigh (across the street) back in May. I recall the hotel being built when I was there in May - it was finished in Nov 13. I have to say Redbury is my new favorite place to stay. Super price, exspecially based on what you get. The hotel is new and the staff is so attentive. Having access to Raleigh beach, SLS fitness and car service access is awesome. Rooms are spacious, bed is unbelievably comfortable and the bathroom is great. Our room was overlooking Collins. Noise was NOT an issue. Restaurant has a great happy hour, bar tenders and servers are polite, and the food is delicious. Wood burning oven for pizza also. If you like having walking access to everything, don't hesitate staying at Redbury. I am back there late Feb and mid March.

We just got back from a 2 night stay at the Redbury. What a fantastic hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable. The front desk staff were fabulous. Kristin, Maggie, Arthur and Melissa. Access to the Raleigh pool is a great perk. We also took advantage of the house car. Nice 7 series BMW. The driver was great as well. I believe his name was Juan. This will be the only place we will consider when we come back to Miami Beach. Great addition to Miami Beach
