Home Away

We love this place. We are always treated special and greeted by name. This is our favorite place to stay on the beach. It feels like home away from home. The people who work here are great. Very helpful and knowledgeable about he area and events.

Mixed feelings

Ended up prolonging our stay in Miami due to a cancelled flight. This was a last minute booking. The front desk team were absolutely amazing! The value for money was also good given the location of this hotel. The rooms were large with a separate bedroom/living room & bathroom. Also a small kitchenette. I just couldn’t look past the old worn out office floor carpet tiles and the horrendous retro pink fittings. Also lots of noise from the upstairs room. I think it didn’t help with the thin carpet tiles. The pool area was really nice and relaxing. Used the gym once but again could do with some updating. This hotel could reach its full potential with a bit of an update. It has everything else

Thank you for the very nice comments about our front desk staff. They really are amazing and they truly understand great customer service. Value for the money was good for the location is music to our ears. Next time please try our fully renovated and modern premium king suites on the 4th floor.that have all new furniture, king size beds and larger 43 inch TV's. Glad you also enjoyed the pool and that you found our suites to be large and spacious. Our suites are larger than most hotels on Miami Beach. Thank also you for the feedback. We are in the process of updating the entire fitness center and we should be done in the next 4 weeks. It will be very nice. We are also updating the queen suites to make them more modern with new wall units and larger 43 inch TV's. We have installed new beds and new carpets too in the queen suites. We are getting better every day and we should be much nicer and more modern the next time you come.

Tetanus Shot required for stay...NASTY PLACE!

Flight was cancelled so I called to make sure our refurbished KING suite would still be ready when we checked in later than expected. Was assured it would be. When we got there we were given a musty, old QUEEN suite that had yet to be remodeled. Their excuse was that they had overbooked the hotel and that’s all they had. Bathtub was dirty and surprise...when we turned back the sheets on the bed, the sheets were DIRTY from God knows what (pictures attached). Manager said he would make sure they would “do better” next time. Didn’t offer to change sheets or anything. We slept on top of the covers after covering it with towels and our own blankets. Make sure you’re up to date on your tetanus shots if you stay here!

We have discussed this matter with our entire hotel staff since reading your review. None of the employees of the hotel remember you or the events you describe in your review. What a surprise. We do not overbook our property and we have never put any guest in a different suite type other than the type of suite that they selected when they booked their reservation. I am the only manager and I have never met you or had any communication with you. If your bed sheets were dirty and I or any my staff were made aware of it, then the dirty bed sheets would have been changed immediately to clean ones. Your story seems even less believable when you say that you slept on top of the covers and on your own blankets and that I didn't offer to change the sheets or that I told you that we would do better next time. Nice try, but your story is... a complete fabrication.

Annual visitor

Great hotel - Fantastic location - Access to beach and many different resturants, shopping banks/ATM's, good parking - Great entertainment and drinks. Easy to drive to using Interstate or airport. Taxi service available if needed.

Room tip: I've stayed in several different rooms and floors, they are all excellent.

Not quite!

Second visit to Miami, expected price/quality, but instead we found an old building , cracking floors, no parking facilities and had to pay $US 20 to valet parking a few blocks away! No restaurant or coffee shop available, but nearby. People hanging around entrance/exit almost all day. Beach nearby ok, we did not try pool or gym. I will pass the recommendation...

Sorry to hear that your expectations were not exceeded. There are many public parking spaces on the street right outside of the hotel which are free from 6 pm to 8 am and which can be paid by phone app for guests that do not want to use the valet services. There are also many great places to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner very close to the entrance of the hotel. This is our busy time of year and the main entrance to the beach is next to the hotel, and so on the weekends there can be many people walking past the front of the hotel to get to the beach. Also, we now have fully renovated and modern premium king suites on the 4th floor and we have received very positive reviews about them from many guests. Our guests also enjoy the pool and the fitness center. We hope you will try one or both on a future visit.
