This hotel is a classic. It is modern with a wonderful feel of a happening place that has never aged. It is true, the hotel is overpriced in some aspects, but you really get what you pay for. For example, one of the hottest clubs in Miami (LIV) is in the hotel lobby, wonderful atmosphere in the massive pool area, great beach service, wonderful rooms overlooking both the bay and the ocean, great steakhouse (Gotham) and a phenomenal spa. My only complaint: the place is perhaps too large, so get ready for some walking!

Room Tip: Tresor tower is one of the newest (tallest) towers. It works out well because is close to valet and...

Michael Sapienza-- beach attendant gets 5 stars from me. He was very sweet, accommodating, and gave phenomenal guest service. I wish more of the staff has his attitude.

Pros: pool area was nice and the other guests that we met were a lot of fun. Clubs were fun as well. Staff overall were nice but a couple of interactions that I had that were negative were bad enough that I probably won't come back to this hotel. Drinks were tasty.

Cons: the drinks were too expensive at $20 a drink. Also for 3 petite girls, lunch at blade was 250??? It was good but not that great. Cabbing everywhere got expensive as well. Bc it's about a 10 min can ride to south beach. Took about an hour to get an extra blanket even though at check in I was told there would be one in the room for me. Bath tub was dirty and the safe had a condom locked in it- had to have security open it and that's how we found the condoms. Ewww. At check out, the front desk girl gave me 2 other guests tickets until she finally got me and actually had the nerve to tell me next time I need to tell her which tower I was in and not just the room number and my name. My response- there won't be a next time and I didn't know you had 3 towers with the same room numbers. Perhaps you should ask the guests which tower and room? For the amount of money I spent there, I expected a little more. Next time, I may take a friend's suggestion and stay somewhere else.

The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The seating was timely and the waiting lounge area was inviting and made the short wait a nice experience. The food overall was delicious and the presentations memorable.

Massively over priced for everything. Bottle of Jack Daniels for example $200, valet parking $40, restaurants are all expensive, mini bar cashews $13!
Great location but you are just a cash cow in the eyes of this hotel. Whole of Miami Beach area is very expensive. Be aware or avoid.

Not one complaint about this hotel- don't even know where to begin!! I have been a bunch of times with my family and for bachelorette parties, and the Fontainebleau exceeds expectations every time!! Whether a family trip or fun getaway, this hotel has it all!! The rooms are beautiful and modern- I recommend the amazing two-bedroom suites in the Tresor tower if you're a family or small group. The beach and pool area are both gorgeous and easily accessible. The grounds are huge, so you can have both relaxation and a fun party atmosphere, depending what you're looking for. The hotel has some fabulous restaurants and bars- so you never have to leave! The service has always been excellent. Can't recommend this place more!!

Great couples getaway. Every age group swimsuit and level of modesty exists at this hotel. We are at a three restaurants and each one was better than the last. Great Placht to run on the beach. Walgreens down the steer was a nice plus. Will return.

This is not a hotel. It is an exquiste resort right next to the world famous South Beach Art Deco district. This is a HUGE property apparently with 1500+ guest rooms. Place deserves its own zip code! The proerty has multitudes of everything - restaurants, bars, shoppings, pools, spas, etc. But the star attrraction is the immense beach front on the blue azure Atlantic. I have not seen a beach front so long. I was dumb luck to have been upgraded to an ocean facing suite on the 25th floor, A great living room with an iMac, 42" LCD, kitchentte, 2 verandahs, large ensuite bedroom with a wlak-in closet!!!! incredible accomodation. There were three ongoing corporate events but yet no fish market! Do check out teh incredible Bleau Bar right next to the lobby check-in. Only kink, the staff seemed a bit stretched and slow. But who cares, this is Maimi SoBe for a reason! Fantastic!

Room Tip: The obvious....ocean front
