One of the best brunch joints. Start with a mimosa and go with one of the amazing cakes, known to be Oprah's favorites while in town.

Had breakfast here this morning after a long walk around South Beach. This cafe is located close to friends who with us, tried to eat there early in Nov. on a Sunday a.m. and couldn't get in it was so crowded. Not so this morning. What a cool place. Friendly staff, minimum decoration, somewhat industrial in feel. The menu arrives on a large board (like a clip board). I think it's a local place and a place where business people have power breakfasts. I ordered scrambled eggs which were organic and included mushrooms and sliced turkey sausage. This was accompanied with a fresh biscuit and fresh cranberry preserves served in a neat jar. My favorite thing was the iced green tea served in a milk bottle, loaded with mint leaves and a side of fresh lemon juice. Definitely want to try lunch there the next time I am in the area.

Came here for desserts though the full menu looks equally delicious. The key lime pie in particular was one of the best I've ever had. Well suited for the sweet tooth with a 3 sampler for $16 or 5 for $21 to get a flavor of many.

The menu selections sounded great but the French toast was overly sweet so went unfinished. Scrambled eggs arrived cool though the biscuit was warm and delicious. Our cappuccino was excellent. Sadly, the much acclaimed red velvet cake was dry with equally disappointing icing. And last but not least, service was very slow! We will give it one more shot in hopes it was an off day.

Great food, great bar, great service. Like it much better than the old Lincoln Road location! I'm a frequent diner.
