I’ve always loved the EDITION brand and heard amazing things about the one in Miami Beach, so my husband and I booked a two-night stay during the summer. Unfortunately, it rained during the majority of our stay which was a real bummer, but we were just fine hanging out in our room (beautiful!) and at Tropicale. The sun FINALLY came out around lunchtime on the second day so we headed straight for the pool, but service was so slow that we ended up having to order food and drinks directly from the bar. (The amazinggg Broken Shaker bar is just around the corner, though, if you need a change of pace and price!) The hotel's pool area is far less of a scene than other Miami hotels, which we definitely appreciated. We also ate dinners off-property so I can't say anything about Matador. I hope to try it on our next visit! Overall, the prices are steep to stay and eat here, but if you're a fan of EDITION, hotel design, and Le Labo, look no further.
