To me it was the best Italian restaurant in north America up to few years. the service is never good but now even the food is going down, waitresses they serve you pasta and entree at the same time....like a plate of pasta as a side dish??? Where are we at the olive garden? When you clearly ask for a 1/2 portion of pasta to start ( like in Italy) and after a fish but you get the fish first and than two minutes later the pasta as a side dish. obviously no training on how to serve Italian food.... Also the food is not the same high quality as it was years ago.....the lobster pasta special or the bottarga basta is not as good at it was long ago. Sorry but I will never be back there when in Miami....and I use to go there every time when in south beach some time even twice in a weekend.....they have ruined my dinner too many times in the last two years.

We shared the salmon carpaccio special, sea bass and a Sardinian pasta preparation. All were excellent, as was the wine. The restaurant was quite loud; the outside patio a little more quiet.

We had reservations for 7 people. The restaurant called to confirm early in the afternoon. Later, our party changed to 5 people so we called back to let them know, no problem. We arrived 20 minutes early, while we were checking in, another party of 5 with no reservation came and and were told it would be an hour wait. While we were sitting on a bench outside waiting, they brought a table out to us and then chairs. They asked were we the party of 5, we said yes, so we were sat at the table. A couples minutes later we were asked to move and guess who got the table? Yep, the party with no reservation! After waiting 1/2 hour past our reservation time, we paid for our drinks and left. We will never go back and will tell anyone who asks what a horrible experience we had there.
