My husband and I arrived yesterday morning in South Beach. We are staying at the Dream Hotel just next door to the restaurant. We had breakfast and then came back for lunch :) Breakfast was delicious....cheese omelette and French toast. Service was phenomenal. After spending the better part of the day shopping in South Beach we returned to have some tacos. We are from Canada and don't have many taco restaurants. Staff was very helpful with all our questions about the menu. We were given complementary pineapple shots...they pack a punch :) The shrimp tacos were absolutely amazing as well as the carne tacos. Cooled off with a banana daquiri! The owner was also there and was able to give us lots of information about the area. We will definitely be back with our friends today :)

Made a visit to the Naked Taco for a late lunch yesterday. Nice outdoor seating on Collins Avenue. Keep in mind, there is construction on Collins but that won't be forever. If you drive there, you can park a short block away in the public lot just to the north. Two great waitstaff took care of our party of 7. Began with complimentary tequila/pineapple shots which were great. Being there on Taco Tuesday gave a free taco--fish, steak or chicken-- with each margarita. Drinks were generous, good pours and tacos incredible. We shared two orders of guacamole which was well-flavored and fresh. You must have the grilled street corn. Grilled with spices, aioli and butter. We enjoyed a variety of entrees. My short rib burrito was enormous with great carne. Others had lamb, fish and chicken dishes that all were exceptional. One member of the party had the OG margarita that was too heavily spiced but that was the only negative of the entire meal. We finished off with amazing churros compliments of the house. Carmel, Chocolate and Vanilla dipping sauces were part of the dessert course. A return visit is in order for the Naked Taco. Viva la Fiesta!

The food is fantastic and the menu is inexpensive for a Miami Beach restaurant serving food of such high quality. We had naked tacos and they were absolutely wonderful. My favorite were: duck, key west shrimp, and lamb. My sister loved the chorizo taco. They are small but very tasty, and you can have them served naked, without shell but wrapped in lettuce. If there are 2 of you and you have light to medium appetite, for lunch get 4 tacos and split an appetizer. For dinner split 6 tacos and an appetizer or two. Each taco is $5. They also have $39 Margarita pitchers---ca. 5 margaritas per person that cost you $12-15/per drink at the bar if ordered separately. Our servers were great. We really loved Benjamin. There are 2 Benjamins working there, "our" Ben is from New York. He gave us perfect advice on food and drink, and served us with care.

Margarita was great. With that said, pre-dinner cocktails were $15 each and really bad in quality. Terrible Cosmopolitan (terrible!!) and Banana... something or rather of the same quality. The bartender's personality was suitable for a sports bar, not a nice restaurant. There were 2 bartenders. We were served by the older one. Not only he made terrible cocktails, he did not pay much attention to us.
