“Authentic Italian by an Italian family”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

There are so many Italian restaurants in sobe it can be hard to choose but you wont go wrong with this one! Outside dining on Lincoln road to take in all the city life, and great food. Great service by everyone from our waiter, the owner and his mother! We had a salad with avocado cream dressing and cranberries, then had the most amazing chorizo ravioli with an almond cream sauce. and of course tiramisu made fresh by momma to finish. The bad reviews on this place are mostly by people with one or two reviews so they obviously only used tripadvisor to trash the name of la lupa as a way to help ratings of other competitors. The people who rate them highly are frequent users that are actually on vacations so ignore those and go eat. You will not be disappointed..

“Very good”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

We had dinner at La Lupa Di Roma last night and I was very impressed! The pasta was delicious, the appetizers were tasty and fresh, and all portions were very generous. This restaurant has an amazing wine list too. Overall it was a very nice experience and would highly reccomend it to anyone who is looking for an authentic Italian meal.

“Over cooked and over rated”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

I went to La Lupa Di Roma on the basis of all the great reviews here but was sadly disappointed.
despite the friendly service--the staff there are very nice, the appetizer and main pasta entree were both extremely overcooked. Tasty they may have been at one time, but both appeared to be re-heated and were way overcooked. Too bad. Hard to understand the #22 rating.

Sir,
i m deeply sad you were not happy with our food.
We are all human and we can make mistakes. I wish you could have called any of us and we would have been more than happy to insure that your experience was brilliant as everyone else.
One thing i may like to add is that we do not overheat the food because we cook everything at the moment. Please do come back and give us the chance to give you the culinary experience we are capable of.

“Best Italian in South Beach!”
Reviewed September 14, 2012 via mobile

Hands down, the best Italian food in South Beach. If you are looking for authentic hand made Italian food this is he place for you. I ate here three years ago with a group of friends and we have been talking about coming back ever since. We finally did yesterday. The lamb chops are the best that I have had anywhere and the zucchini Parmesan is phenomenal. Our wine selection could have been better but overall it is my favorite spot in the area.
