“Entertaining facts about South Beach”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

My family of 3 enjoyed the duck tour. Our teenager enjoyed seeing the nice homes on the water, yet would have liked to learn more about the sports heroes than country singers. I would recommend that you take the tour early in your trip since you may want to visit some sites or stores after the tour. The tour took about 90 minutes and was just the right length of land and water time. We were shown popular night clubs, shops, homes were tv/movie/music stars live, and informed of the art deco and where some movies were filmed.

We purchased the tickets online for $35 (per person) including gratuity, tax, & processing.

The duck tour departs at Lincoln Ave & James St & then travels the following route: Washington Ave- MacArthur Cswy- Cruise in the Bay around Star, Palm, Hibiscus Islands - MacArthur Cswy - Ocean Drive & back to Lincoln Ave.

“Been on better duck boat rides”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

Ridin g duck boats is something we love to do on vacations to get a fun ride while seeing and hearing about the land and water. We had a party of 10 so we made reservations the day before and glad we did as many times were sold out. The guide (Richie) was entertaining but it did get a bit much at times. He had us repeat words, like "say Oprah" about 50 times. It was a bit annoying. Otherwise he was very fun! Why didn't we do the Harlem Shake? He remembered about 10 passengers names and engaged them in conversations.
A few more facts about the area including SouthBeach history (not just buildings) would have been nice. My husband didn't like how the music would get really loud than soft, but it didn't bother me. One other item: It was hard for people over 65 to get up, then especially down the ladder.

“Good Family Tour”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

I went on this tour with 9 of my family members. The tour was the perfect length and fun for all ages. I wish we could have seen more of the islands up closer, but other then that it was a great tour in which we learned a lot about Miami from.

“Great Tour for All!”
Reviewed March 30, 2013 via mobile

Advised by family and friends to take the tour I decided to do so. This tour is informational, not to long/short, and reasonably priced. We have a funny enthusiastic tour guide, tentative captain and I advise taking the tour on the first day if it your first time to Miami. Watch out for timeshare marketing at the sales counter!!

“Take your chances”
Reviewed March 29, 2013 via mobile

We waited in line for more than an hour because the boat before us broke down in the water. The worst part was they lied about what was causing the delay. Then we were delayed on our trip because a boater was blocking the ramp. When they finally moved it took them three tries to get out of the water. The sights were wonderful.
