“Food is delicious. Service a bit slow.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2013 via mobile

I've gone to Las Vegas many times and unfortunately they are usually under-staffed so the service can be slow, so be patient because the food won't disappoint!
I've taken many out-of-town visitors there for Cuban food and if they've come back to visit they always want to go back.
Definitely give it a try!

“Not Fancy but Great Food and Wonderful Staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2013

We were recently in Miami and my brother's (Houston) Cuban barber told him about Las Vegas. It just so happened that our hotel was just a couple of blocks down Collins Avenue. The dining room was simple and nondescript. The staff was great, and the food just what we would have expected at a home style Cuban restaurant. Not Haute Cuisine, but comfort food.

“Good food in a simple environment. ”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013 via mobile

If you're looking for good food and not expecting a stellar environment, this is your place. Service was decent enough but not overly enthusiastic. I think one would be better served to be fluent in Spanish. Our needs were met reasonably enough and the food was delicious.

“Good food, improved service.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013 via mobile

We have visited this restaurant numerous times during our vacations in Miami Beach over the past five years. Last year was the first time I was disappointed both with the quality of my meal and especially the wait staff but I'm happy to say both have improved significantly. We had a party of 16 on a Saturday night and although they don't usually take reservations they agreed to hold a spot for all of us to sit together. The food was very good and came out hot unlike last year. Only one person's meal was delayed but it was less than a minute wait. Kudos to the waiter. I suggest the whole red snapper in red sauce. Black beans are also delicious. I will definitely return next year.

“Authentic cuban fare with attentive service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

We had 2 chinese guests for 10 days and wanted to show them Miami Beach and introduce them to many different foods.. we stopped into Las Vegas because I remember this place from a couple of yrs ago from staying at nearby hotel Sheri Frontenac..So we tried fried yuca , the shredded pork dish for 9.95, the skirt steak for about 16 and the shrimp garlic dish , around 14.
ALL 3 were Perfect! came with black beans/rice, perfect sweet plaintains, and we shared a flan dessert that was yummy! The staff was excited and eager to show our guests all about Cuban food, including the cuban garlic bread too.. and the loved it. ANd so did we!
The shredded pork dish was almost like burnt ends barb-bq, where its almost over done with
crispy flavor-but with the grilled onions it came with made it perfect! The skirt steak we ordered medium rare and definately was pink to red inside! And the shrimp garlic sauce was devine, with grilled red and green peppers in the sauce. A fantastic experience!
