There's no question the food here is excellent, and portions extreme, but unless you enjoy being completely disrespected, save yourself the trouble - you can do much better in South Beach. We dined on Sunday, June 30, with a 7:30 reservation that was useless and ignored. We watched as several parties of 'pretty' people were seated immediately upon arrival after us, several of whom greased the front door staff. After leaving us stewing for an hour, we were finally seated us in a completely empty side room where they could have atleast seated us at the appointed time and not made us to wait for an hour.
Thankfully, we had an absolutely wonderful waiter named Matthew, who rescued the evening once we were seated. The food was great, despite me finding a staple in the collard greens accompanying my shortrib, but the restaurant was appropriately apologetic and comped that part of the meal.
In the end, not worth the effort to get to, at the very south end of the strip, and way too many great places on Ocean Drive who actually work the sidewalk to get your business, and then appreciate it when you choose to join them. Try Il Bolognese (branzino) or Cardozo (gnocchi) instead, and have a great time with much better treatment.
