Our first breakfast on arrival in Miami and what a disappointment. Expensive and the only really good thing was the orange juice which was extra. The eggs were OK, Canadian bacon tasteless, coffee - instant, white toast tasteless and all this for a high charge. So skip this one and for less you can eat on the terrace of the Hotel Victor with fried eggs, crispy bacon, fried potatoes, fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee. All served by a friendly waiter and with a view over the gardens.

Me and my family are deli addicts. We like corned beef, pastrami but mostly smoked meat from Montreal famous Schwartz's...the top of the world ! So, when it is time to go to New York or any city where the delicatessen is a famous one...we are there ! We did not appreciate the quality of the meat at Jerry's, the fries where not cooked...just defrosted and cold, the pastrami was too fatty. We were not impressed and it was costly...OK we were in South Beach, but if the quality was not there we do not mind at all to pay. Would we go back ? No ! In Florida we prefer Toojay's...try it !

Very big menu with options for almost any taste. The place has a great classic look to it. But the service is very ho-hum and the food is actually quite generic.

This place is iconic in south beach. Open 24/7 you can find good grub anytime of day.

Their menu is extensive. The place is art deco style but looking a little tired and some of the booths could use a little repair in upholstery. Given all that I like the place and try to visit at least once while in South Beach. Yes, sometimes they could be a little slow in service but i really have not found this to be a problem. I would suggest you eat inside, Collins is a busy street for traffic to be doing outdoor dining. Also I find inside service faster than outside.

I have had many of their dishes over the years, portions are large and sharing should be an option especially for their sandwich dishes like roast beef or pastrami. Both of these are my two favorites at Jerry's.

"try it you'll like it" Won't set you back a lot of money and will give you a little retro experience.

Open 24/7 and offering a good number of different delis, large portions but not always managing to serve the guests of the same company simultaneously. Some of the staff more service-minded than others.
