“Great little French place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

We loved our meal at this place. We sat outside. It is located on a quiet part of Lincoln Rd. Right where the pedestrian part ends. We had a great server, the owner's son. We ordered the onion soup and it was great. We then ordered the Foie Gras and it was better than any we had in Paris. We then had the Chacuterie plate and cheese plate. They were so wonderful! The wine was very reasonable and of course the french bread perfect. So go and enjoy!

“Transported us to France”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

Provence Grill houses a tiny, cozy inside dining room augmented by outdoor sidewalk seating about a 10 minute walk from the heart of South Beach up Lincoln, the largely pedestrian shopping street. During our recent dinner, every member of the staff worked to ensure we had a superb experience: water glasses were refilled constantly, and different staff members checked in to make sure we were enjoying our food. There were 2 of us and we shared the charcuterie platter to start. This had prosciutto di parma, salami, smoked duck breast, fig preserves, blueberry preserves, pork pate and another pork and duck item, along with cornichons and cured olives. It was presented on a beautiful wooden board and tasted as beautiful as it looked. The entrees of mussels marinieres and braised octopus literally could not have been better. The octopus in particular had the most perfectly balanced flavors (olives, capers, tomatoes, fresh parsley) and texture. The broth for the mussels was done equally as well. To cap it off, we shared the chocolate soufflé with creme anglaise. While the minced toffee bits gilded the lily, the souffle itself was heavenly. Provence Grill is an oasis of genuine, fresh, skillfully prepared food presented with outstanding hospitality.

“French Bistro with a touch of Italy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

The location which is just off the Lincoln Rd mall is just far enough from the masses that you
are not overwhelmed by people walking all around you. The food is far superior to any places
that I ate on the mall. As Provence in France is very near Italy it is not unreasonable for them to
have pizza and pasta. The French country dishes including the duck confit and pate are well done. The pasta is homemade and very good. The wine list though not extensive is reasonable.
This restaurant is a best buy.

“Excellent food, superb service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

Small restaurant. Superb food. Excellent presentation. Excellent service. A foodie will enjoy this restaurant. I understand that all preparation in on site - pasta making, bread baking, etc.
A few indoor tables. We umbrellaed tables were outside. Some street noise. The propane heaters were appreciated in the cold weather.
A gem.

“amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

We live very close to this restaurant.
Three months ago we decided to try it out.
No regrets, one of our preferred restaurants now.
We love their food and we have not tried anything that we did not like a lot.
