When you have a 24/7 restaurant smack dab in tourist central, you are bound to get every type of review from horrible to great. We chose the News Cafe primarily because they were the only ones on the strip not accosting us with skantily clad slovic women shoving menu's and huge cocktails in our face. Also, most restaurants were doing half-off entrees at the time, but we found the prices comparable since the other restaurants were wildly inflated in prices. When many restaurants were barely a quarter full, this place was teeming. We decided to grab lunch, and weren't disappointed.
Friendly service, and rather quick compared to how packed they were. We split a goat cheese pizza which was extremely good, and big enough for two of us and still had left overs. I would go back just for that pizza.
