We had some good food, overpriced though, in a crowded restaurant with arrogant Italian waiters.
The atmosphere was so loud that it would be impossible to have a relaxed dinner or chat, even with people at your table.
A total disaster was the offer of a Grappa after the dinner (without mentioning the price or "special quality") - on the bill we discovered it was 18USD (plus tax and service charge!!!), unacceptable.
We cannot and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone again.

We loved the old school feel of Osteria del Teatro, a throwback to earlier times with classic decor, flawless service, and a "hominess" that can't be rivaled. Everyone in the group tried some sort of pasta dish, and the homemade pasta did not disappoint with its amazing texture. Raviolis in a brown butter sauce, pappardelle in a seafood vodka sauce, every plate was licked clean. Desserts were also excellent.

I'm Italian and so I judge italian restaurant in a very careful way.

This one is not a good one. Food is so and so and people running it are not italian.

We were a party of 6 and treid different thing but none of them was good.

Really a low level restaurant according to my opinion.

Wow is all i can say. One off custom lobster salads, homemade spaghetti bolegnaise, estate wines without the south beach crowds. Don't get me wrong love south beach but this place was excellent. The owner went out of his way to make us feel special and customize a dinner to our tastes.

This place is just unbelievable. One of the best atmospheres and feelings I have ever enjoyed in an italian restaurant. Very nice and memorable service. Excellent food.
