“Best place to see a game in SOBE”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

We were walking on the beach front across the grass when we heard the crowds roaring...it was NFL championship weekend..we decided to take a walk to see what it was all about. We walked in to sports-bar heaven. We watched the football games with great people, fantastic tvs and good food. The place was the best place by far to watch a sporting event. My boyfriend was beyond grateful for us stumbling upon this gem.

“Good, cheap breakfast”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

My husband and I ate here for two days while we stayed at the Winter Haven hotel next door. The restaurant has a good, cheap breakfast (for Miami Beach). We were able to get pancakes, eggs, toast, and hash browns for about $15-$20. I think that included coffee. Most restaurants on Ocean Dr are not that good and are much more expensive!

“Oh my! Smh”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Visiting Coral Gables for the weekend and decided to take our sons to see South Beach (they had never been there and wanted to experience it ). We wanted to grab something to eat and it was only around 3 pm so we wanted to eat outside as the weather was gorgeous. We were seated quickly and greeted by a very nice server. She promptly got our drink order while we reviewed the menu. We all ordered either a sandwich or salad for our meal, 1 appetizer to share, and 2 cups of soup. The appetizer arrived promptly. At this point a different server came over to take our order because our server left???? She was a young lady with a lot of curly hair that she constantly touched....it should be pulled back!!! We told her we already had ordered....hmmmm. Our sandwiches and salads were all served....but the soups had never come. We asked about them so them brought them out quickly. We asked for 3 drink refills (we had to ask!. ). They brought two of the drinks right away and then brought the soda refill after we had finished eating. The entire time that we were eating our server was MIA. Now we waited and waited and waited for the check. Finally my husband when to the hostess stand to ask for it!

Overall, the food was ok...not bad but nothing spectacular ...but the service was TERRIBLE. The worse part....the gratuity was automatically added into the bill!!!!! So now we know why the service stunk, because their tips are not based on the service that they give!

Overall, the food was average, the service was terrible, but the company was great. My recommendation....there are plenty of restaurants to choose from on Ocean Ave. at South Beach. Keep walking if you see this one.
