This imaginary restaurant is a "TURIST TRAP! "

Horrible food, bad service , OVERLY PRICED..

The list goes on..

The only thing positive for them is they have a great location..

Food was OK nothing special for being Italian cooking. Much, much better at De Luca at Lincoln. Expensive, overcrowded and noisy. Wait staff spoke in Italian which doesn´t help if you don´t speak it. Wait staff took order for four people. The antipasta was OK, but when the main course was served, the waiter took the wrong order for one of us. He would argue with us that we were wrong and he (waiter) was right because he wrote it down. He had a lot of tables and was very busssssssy. He could have mistaken the order with another table..... but he kept arguing with us. We asked for what we ordered and he said that it would be no problem BUT he would have to charge is for BOTH orders. ie his mistake and what we had ordered. We asked to speak to the manager but that didn´t do anything. The other guests that where having their meal where just in shock at the attitude of the waiter, manager, etc. We paid and left without finishing out meal. Oh to compensate us the waiter did not charge us his 18% gratuity.... big deal.. They should have charged us for what we consumed, and not for what we did not eat...... our bill was over 300 USD. I don´t know if it´s legal to charge 18% gratuity automatically on a bill in Miami, but its outragous.

Had a dinner twice. Pasta was amazing. Service is very fast, especially for Miami. Great mohito, everyone have to try it! Can't wait to visit it again.
The location on Espanola way is perfect - atmosphere is romantic and great for dinner. Always overcrouded but it doesn't annoy.

On our way into town from the airport our driver told us about this place. We walked down to the restaurant and found it nestled on the coolest street. Lots of little places to shop and eat...but Hosteria Romana was the place to be on Espanola Way. I had a wonderful pasta dish and my hubby loved the veal picatta. Service was really good. So glad we found this on South Beach.

the place is the most picturesque in espanola way, service is great and attentive, we got the prosciutto ( cutted at the table ), 2 pastas ( clams linguine and calamarata ), 3 cocktails, 1 bottle of water... 180 dollars with gratuity ( 18% included ).
it is expensive, but unlikely other restaurant, you pay the whole experience. we felt to leave an extra 10 $ tip and for sure we will came back for special occasions.
