Description: YUCA, an acronym for Young Urban Cuban-Americans, is widely known as being South Florida's original upscale Cuban restaurant featuring Innovative Nuevo Latino Cuisine or as the locals call it "Nuevo Latino." This style of cooking includes traditional Latin ingredients such as a plethora of textures, colors, and flavors that when combined creates a cuisine that is unique to anything offered outside of the Caribbean and Latin America.

The best location, the kindest waiters, the mist delicious food... It is really worth a visit! Cuban-american cuisine at its top, with an interesting modern touch.

The atmosphere and wait staff are just fine. The restaurant is very nice and inviting. My husband and I had the calamari and the bacon wrapped dates for appetizers. Very good with light coating on the calamari. We both had the paella for our entree. It was just ok. The dish lacked flavor which surprised me in a Cuban restaurant. The dish had mussels, clam and shrimp which were cooked very well. I would go back to try another dish. Maybe the paella is not their specialty. I would stick with the more Traditional Cuban dishes next time. There is outdoor seating but August in Miami- we opted for the air conditioned inside dining!

“Excellent cocktails, adequate food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2014

Nice ambience, enjoyed the vibe on Lincoln Rd. I was looking forward to the Caprese salad with burrata cheese. However the burrata was blah, and the guava in it threw me off. There is a lot of guava and goat cheese (both are yummy on their own, but executed weirdly) on the menu. The Fufu is a sweet mashed potato, and was not a good accompaniment for my entree.
Cocktails were amazing! Had some secret recipe drink, and it was green. Delish...
