We were a party of eight excited to hit one of the hottest spots in Miami Beach. Yes, we expected dinner might take some time -- eight is a big party, and we were ordering starters, meals and sides. But the time it took was unreasonable. Our starters came out fairly quickly, but the time between courses had to have been more than an hour. The waiter stopped coming near our table after a while, maybe because he didn't have our food yet. We asked about it several times and were told "soon" each time. In the meantime, water glasses remained unfilled. Our total time at the table? More than three hours. For the price, the whole experience should have been top-notch.
The food itself was very good. We had a good mix of entrees, and everyone seemed pleased with both surf and turf. I had the tuna, which was well prepared. The starters were delish, especially the mac and cheese, though one bite was enough for me -- it is rich! Salad portions are too large, so plan to share.
One other odd note. The table they stuck us at was tiny. We were rubbing knees and knocking elbows the whole time, and there was no room for the food and wine glasses. Sharing anything was like running and obstacle course. There were larger options.
I'd like to give this restaurant a better rating, but when you wait so long for your food -- and watch other patrons come in after and leave well before you -- it's just not a good experience. I won't return.
