“Food pretty good, awfully dark, no chairs”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2013

I had tasty sushi and my dad enjoyed his sea bass, but this place has little stools and benches to sit on (no chairs), and it is awfully dark for us old people. Fairly expensive, though all Miami Beach is expensive.

“amazing food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 1, 2013

The tuna tarts are by far the best dish. Once you try you will be hooked. The place is tucked away in the basement of the townhouse hotel. One of the best sushi places i have been too.

“Not authentic, but great sushi and small foods”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

Not sure why this place is called Bond St, but this place serves Sushi and some Japanese and Chinese fusion food.
Nothing is authentic but they managed to do this really well.
We tried Sushi at a few different places in Miami, but I would say this place was the best by far.

If you are there, you should definitely try crab and avocado sushi and steamed yuba dumplings.
It's rather dark basement place, but still, the good foods compensate the settings!

“Sushi in a basement...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2013 via mobile

The lighting in the restaurant is dim at best. The decor is modern but the dark atmosphere is very off putting (exactly what are they trying to hide?!). Service was iffy at first and got gradually better after the waitress/ hostess realized that we would be spending some bucks. Food was mixed - the tuna and avocado tacos were amazing as was the spicy toro and crisp fried rice. The sea bass skewers had too much sauce on them and were not impressive. The rolls were decent. In a pinch, this would be fine but would not put it on the "must eat" list in Miami.

“Hidden gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2013

I have been to many sushi spots all around the world. I would fly to miami just to have dinner here. Between the traditional sushi and the asian fusion options this place can not be beat. Just try the tuna tarts and you will be addicted
