“Good food, friendly service”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

Went for dinner on a Wednesday to this narrow restaurant located close to our hotel on Ocean Drive. Waiter was very friendly and was very knowledgeable about the wines they carried. Limited menu but they had several specials. My wife is fussy about what she eats and did not find much on the menu that she liked. She ordered the Butternut Squash ravioli and enjoyed it. We both started with a zucchini soup that was tasty. Overall a good restaurant but would have liked more pasta selections. The waiter did offer a tasting menu.

“I think I am in love..”

Simply brilliant. Go for the 7course with the wine pairing. Great and crative vegaetarian offerings. Will try the vegan option next time. Quality wine and knowledgable servers. Start with the Barolo..

“Excellent! We had a delicious dinner.”
Reviewed August 19, 2012

I went to this restaurant two weeks ago, along with 3 friends and the wife of one of them, we were attending a seminar in Miami Beach. Who suggested to me was a chef who is a friend of the chef of the restaurant, Giancarla. I was very worried that they might not like it, but my friends really loved the restaurant. The service, appetizers, the dishes and the wines we chose were very good. None of us found it very expensive though it is not a cheap restaurant, worth what is paid. I recommend.

“Average food”
Reviewed August 2, 2012

Quaint little restaurant with a really authentic feel. It was exciting to learn that they had a separate vegetarian menu as well. The starters were excellent, but it went downhill from there. Every single course was cold - not expected at all. Even the chocolate torte for dessert sounded great, but tasted a bit odd. Great concept but the flavours could be improved.

“authentic”
Reviewed June 10, 2012

a fantastic Itallian that felt very authentic, using quality ingredients and some original menu twists. the chef personally came out to chat which made us feel really welcome. the portions for pasta were huge, which was great intitally but then i regretted that it meant i didnt have room for desert. All the wine list is Itallian which seemed a little excessive given the quality of some US wines but guess it adds to the authentic concept. I doubt anyone would regret a visit.
