The hotel is in a very good location this is why it will cost you $$$. The workers are pleasant for the most part but it does show they might be understaffed somewhat. Check in was good, room was good food was ok. We had the buffet breakfast, fill up because you are paying about $35 a head plus an automatic tip of 18% for the server to bring you coffee or juice and the bill (its a buffet you get your own food). The buffet itself pretty standard breakfast omlette bar toast fruits cereal sausage bacon etc. The pool area is very nice you will need to get there before 9am as the umbrellas are few and it does fill up. Another option is go to the beach where you can pay $19 for the umbrella you get 2 chairs free. They have cabana's and beds for like $80+. Its a decent hotel they do try to make it good but like i said they might need additional staff here and there especially during holiday weekends.
I wasn't happy that i asked the front desk clerk to have housekeeping refill the body wash and leave 2 extra towels that was never done. The shampoo and body wash smelled very nice.
Housekeeping isn't done until late afternoon early evening so that is a little different.
I do like the fact that the staff acknowledges you as you walk around.
I really like that you can borrow the hotel's bicycle and ride around town with them this is a huge bonus you don't realize how much you will walk because driving will not work in south beach.
Valet is $39 per night.
Overall its a good hotel, boutique feel in a large environment. It is south beach you are going to pay for everything, you are going to tip for everything its not cheap.
