“The SoBe BAZAAR is perfection”

It's been almost a year since dining here and I am thrilled to say the food has only improved. They've added input from experts at super chef Ferran Adria's now-closed EL BULLI test kitchens outside Barcelona, who have tweaked some great dishes to become celestial dishes. This is simply the best evening out I recall having at the Beach. Definitely try the pork belly sandwich now enhanced with chicharon. Genius.

“Fun,interesting treat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 19, 2013

We have been to Jose Andres restaurants and were looking forward to trying the Miami Beach version. We were not disappointed. As expected, the food was excellent. The service was prompt and not over the top. The food was amazing, getting to try multiple small dishes made choosing easy. We were able to try multiple smalll dishes for the table. Also had good people watching at the SLS Hotel.Highly recommend this restaurant or any of his other restaurants.

“worth being in Miami!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2013

We first found Jose Andres's restaurants in Washington, D.C., and now make sure to visit any in cities where they are. This one was a real treat! I'm guessing the Latin/Caribbean vibe of Miami gives Mr. Andres an excuse to really showcase his Spanish heritage. The food is superb; the people-watching is top notch! The service is flawless.

“The people watching is far better than the food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2013

This is just one of those places trying way too hard to be different and unusual, but it has poor execution. Novel ideas come one after another, and as an example, salmon steamed in a plastic bag with amazing aromatics, and its opened at the table... its beautiful and smells amazing... but the salmon was so overcooked it was hard as a rock. The brussels sprout leaves mixed with grapes and a sweet mayo coat was a big miss... the sweet grapes and sprouts don't mix at all. Tapas style courses have such opportunity to showcase great talent, but Sunday night had to be night off for the chef. This was very disappointing. Thank god the many couples were HOT and lots of fun to watch.

“Not so great”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2013 via mobile

The food portions were very small which is expected for tapas but very pricey.
Lots of foam, I mean the ceviche I ordered had so much sweet foam on it noone touched it. The chocolate dessert was fine until they poured olive oil over it. I mean I like trying new things and I am open but no one in my table of 12 touched it. Not impressed, the place is nice, I like the bar outside but the food not so much.
