We book the room on the fly after we eloped. We were able to check in within 30 minutes of calling. The room was very clean and the bathroom was huge. we had a great experience for an impromptu reservation.

We went for a 4 day quick get a way. We usually stay at Hilton hotels and when we arrived at the hotel we had requested early check in. The Very RUDE front desk attendant told us sorry there were no rooms for early check in. As diamond members we asked if there was a priority on the room for us? He told us they do not prioritize members and it is first come first serve. After waiting an hour(it was now past 4) we asked again and this time we got a little upset. He did not offer us a complimentary drink or any apology he simply said if you sit at the bar I will get you in 5 to 10 min housekeeping is just finishing up. we waited an additional 30 min before we finally went and asked for the manager. We did get our room and an upgrade, but the man at reception was Terribly rude and called us liars "he never said how long it would take" according to him. I tried to calmly explain to him that if he would have just been honest and polite it would make things a lot easier.
Well it went from bad to worse.
Our room was never cleaned before 4 or 5 in the afternoon. We had to call and ask for housekeeping. (meanwhile we left the room in the am and spent the day at the beach.
The toilet over flowed.
But here is the kicker ----as we are always staying at Hilton hotels, they have become like a second home for us and we feel safe and comfortable. my husband and I both left our passports and wallets in a drawer in the closet. I never took mine out the entire trip. My husband only took out one card. 4 days after we left south beach (we traveled to Detroit and stayed at the Hampton in ) the front desk calls us and says you credit card did not go through. Then the calls starts coming in EVERY SINGLE CREDIT CARD AND DEBIT CARD (7 times 2) had been compromised and used in South beach. Not only had the cards been compromised but they had been cloned. (physical cards made) All cards were cancelled and we are stuck with about a years work of trying to get everything back. We called the Bentley Hotel and spoke to the Manager (same girl who we spoke with when staying at the hotel) She said oh sorry let me look into the situation and call you back. We have still not received one call back from the Hilton. We would never put this out here if it was not impossible that the fraud was committed elsewhere. This happened at the hotel by people with access to our suite. WE have contacted police and there will be an investigation but the Hilton has done NOTHNG to assist us or even apologize. This is outrageous and appalling to say the least.
STAY AWAY from this hotel if you want to keep your identity. We are now afraid what the future will hold and what will be done with our information and identification. ---A former Hilton patron

This facility was the best I have ever stayed in, including overseas. I traveled all over the world during my military career and this hotel is right at the top of my list. I would definitely stay again.

Either the staff member went above and beyond or fell way below expectations. There was no in between. Lobby, bellmen, bar, valet and catering were excellent but wedding coordinator and housekeeping fell so below the chart they do not even get a zero - it would go into the minus. If you are having a destination wedding - DO NOT HAVE IT HERE. The problems are too many to list.

We hosted a beautiful beach wedding at our beach club, a wedding reception in our Skyline Room overlooking world famous Ocean Drive and a Sunday brunch the following day, all executed flawlessly with raving reviews from the bride & groom, and the great majority of the wedding party. I understand there was a concern with the contracting phase which we had resolved in partnership prior to the wedding.

Service was aweful, rooms dirty, and hotel outdated. Only positive was the food. Had to switch rooms because of noise, sheets were dirty and had to be changed, dust was everywhere, toiled did not flush. No one said thank you and you could never find any one to assist you with your needs. We waited 30 minutes to get waited on for breakfast!

I am a firm believer in "bang for your buck". I have no problem paying a little bit extra, if it goes a long way. I also like excellent accommodations for a great value. This is one of those places with excellent accommodations for a great value! It isn't the nicest hotel around, but for this price you aren't going to get the best. It also isn't in the best location of Miami Beach for the action, but that's okay. This is a great place for a budget conscience traveler, or maybe someplace for someone with kids - it's nice enough for parents, but not too nice where kids feel unwelcome.

We were upgraded to the Miami Hilton Bentley when our hotel was closed by the fire marshal. We had a room with a kitchenette and large bathroom with separate shower and large corner bath, we also had a balcony with chairs. The hotel was lovely and clean the reception staff and pool staff were helpful and pleasant. We ate in the pool restaurant a couple of lunch times which was lovely/tasty and not too expensive for a hotel. By the pool there were complimentary towels and sunbeds which were rarely all taken. The beach and beautifully warm ocean were 2 minutes walk through the hotel security gate (there were hotel sunbeds but we did not use these). Next to the hotel was a car park which was cheaper than the valet service and (we found) safe. You were close enough to walk along Ocean Drive to the bars and restaurants and if you wanted a taxi there were plenty around.
We booked through South Beach Vacations who i would not recommend - they told us the room would have 2 'proper' beds and one blow up, when we arrived late at night after driving from Disney the room only had one bed and one blow up (for 5 of us), we could not get hold of them during our stay (on emailing on our return i received an email saying that they had spoken to my husband 3 or 4 times during our stay - he laughed saying if they did speak to someone it was not him!) There was not enough crockery for all of us, the blow up bed had a puncture and needed pumping up daily (which we did with a hairdryer). We are laid back and chose location over size of room for our family (the room would be huge for 2 - but for a family of 5 this was 'snug'). None of these things distract from the fact that the hotel, staff and location were great.
