Description: It was in December 1979, when Chef-Owner Mr. Costas Spiliadis opened the first Estiatorio Milos on Park Avenue, Montreal. The reason seemed obvious to him: the need to elevate the sophistication of Greek cuisine abroad far away from its stereotyped forklorization. 'I wanted to change what people thought about Greek cuisine, make sure it's being appreciated and awarded with its rightful place on an international level!' As a small restaurant, Milos gained the trust of the Montrealers in no time. The menu being always simple and impeccably fresh, drew the attention of the media and food critics from around the world. NY Post has stated in triumph that 'Milos fish could only be fresher if it swam to your plate!' What was the secret that made Milos stand out? Its focus in finding the purest Mediterranean products and cooking with the freshest ingredients. Through 35 years of intensive research, we have managed to build lasting relationships with growers and small-scale fisheries at the shores of Greece, Cyprus, Morocco, Tunisia, Portugal etc., Flying in our fish and seafood daily by plane! Milos has since then taken the world by storm and opened in 1997 in NYC, in 2004 in Athens, in 2010 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, in 2012 in Miami Beach and in 2015 in London!

I've been at NY and Vegas Milos also, and could say this one is probably my favorite, the decor and setting is very nice, an amazing bar with ample seating and the open area for fish display is ample, the inside decor achieves a much bett job than the other ones. Food excels as in every Milos, staff was very friendly aand wine list excellent.
Easy acces, just avoid rush hours and do book as it gets crowded.

If you can afford it, dont miss it !!Best Greek food in Miami Beach !In a beautiful huge store on Jefferson Ave, everything is excellent as in New York. You see and choose the fresh catchs of the day, like lobsters, Red Snapper, trouts, octupus, etc. and the " entrees" with all those greek delicious yougurts, olives... huge, black or green, plus the desserts that melt in your mouth!! Service, impeccable, bar, enormous and friendly. On Sundays, they have a very good " affordable" menu !!

Very nice lunch atmosphere and very good food. The tomato salad in incredible and the dessert is by far the best yogurt and honey combination. Simple, great.

The service is outstanding and the food is delicious.
They have a very nice lunch menu, much cheaper than the regular dinner menu
They should have more choice of wines ....Greek wines are not great

We've been to this restaurant with another couple. We had made a reservation for 10:30pm, but when we arrived there (probably because of the hour) we had the worst service ever. All the waiters were standing looking at us and pressuring us to order. If they accepted reservation at this time, they shouldn't act like this! Also, the waiters were kind of ironic when we asked questions like: "what is the best dish", etc. we ordered some bread as soon as we got there because we were starving and it took 30 minutes to get to your table, after asking many times for it. We really had a bad experience, the food was ok, but is not worth the price and you have other similar places with really good service in Miami.
