This is one of the cheapest hostels I found in Miami, and the price certainly reflects quality. I was in a 12-person room that feature three-tier bunk beds, and even with half the beds empty, it still felt overcrowded. Lockers are available but are too small for larger items like backpacks, so all luggage was kept on the floor. This hostel also requires guests to make their own bed when they arrive, and most mattresses are stained.
My room was in the back of the hostel, and while it did not have an ocean view, it was farther away from the street and a little quieter than other rooms. This hostel has a restaurant on the first floor that faces a crowded street, as well as a rooftop restaurant/ bar that was difficult to navigate as a guest. Servers were curt and unhelpful, as were staff members at the front desk. There is also a $20 cash deposit required upon arrival.
The hostel did feature a lovely ensuite bathroom, though, which was modern and clean. The shower was very nice, and the room was cleaned daily.More
