Lausy service, dirty rooms and windows, everything is charged on your account whatever you can read on their website, the breakfast is poorly supplied, the coffee simply sucks, and the Dorchester charges you 6,99 for a dwindling breakfast plus gratuity, plus taxes plus "service" (no matter whatever poor it could be, their service will cost you 4 more bucks plus taxes)
The bathtub was clogged with something at our arrival so we demanded to be assigned another room. The night assistant, a very friendly woman immediately tried to comply our request, but we had to stay in the same room because the only vacant room had a tore curtain. Two days later the curtain remained the same, despite having rented that room, number 111 . The following day a plumber unclogged the bathtub. The hotel has 130 rooms, but only 30 parking places, therefore maybe you'll have to struggle to get a parking place PAYING 28 dollars plus tax a day. The parking places don't have shelters. The slowest elevador in Miami had a technical revision that had expired six months ago. The pool pictures don't reveal the lack of maintanance and cleanness it shows.
The beds noisy complain when you move and the rest of the furniture has long seen better days.
A positive statement to assert is the behavior of some of their employees, especially André, one of the assistants and also the hotel manager, who did his best to solve all the problems, and also gave us a free pass to the Marseiiles Hotel beach with two umbrellas and 4 chairs to make up for the clogged bathtube.

Room Tip: Try to avoid renting the rooms near the bar, It's loud music ( despite nobody being there ) co...

Affordable clean, nice and excellent location. I loved the happy hour by the pool and the high speed internet. Convenient parking (for extra $28) which is the cheapest in the area. Refreshing juice throughout the day. Great staff, very polite.

This hotel is truly a hostel with Ritz Carlton prices! The paint was chipping off the walls and even the door hinges leaving enormous amounts of rust visible. I would have rather states at Motel 6 and had a better quality hotel and saved $250 per night! DON'T STAY HERE!

Staff are very friendly and booking in was done without any delays and we were given keys to 3rd floor room. Room was very spacious to 2 double beds, TV, Mini Bar, Chairs/Table. Large bathroom with shower and W.C.
My first reaction to this hotel was it need some TLC but I have to say the linen/Towels were spotless but the decor needed updating and also the metal frame windows were so dirty you could hardly see out of them. But have to say for the price, this was money well spent as it is very central and they have a nice outside seating area but again the cushions on the sofa's needed cleaning. The front rooms at this hotel tend to be quite noisy and the back rooms also as the outside bar plays loud music till late at night.

Room Tip: It is noisier at the front of the building with all the traffic.

Stayed in November 2012. Was upgraded to a suite which was a bonus!

Staff could no do enough for us and location, on Collins Ave, whilst central was noisy at night. It seems compulsory to sound car horns frequently!
Bathroom was a bit tired but overall a very comfortable hotel. No problem in recommending the hotel

I bid my hotel in priceline and got it for $95 per night. Beware of the resort fee they charge you when you check-in. Rooms are average, my blind curtains were broken and bathroom door had scratches.
However, room was very clean and had nice size. AC in room was frozen but they changed me the room in 5 min.

Great location, only 2 blocks from shopping on Lincoln Rd. Hotel is very modern for an old hotel. We were given a quiet room but it was very noisy at night, so dread to think what a noisy room is like? Apparently South Beach is very noisy with people partying all night. It didn't spoil my stay though. Staff are very very friendly. Check in is not until 3pm. Bar on site is very expensive - mini bar in room is cheaper. Room service menu is actually a takeaway restaurant that delivers to you room and you pay cash at the door (you can't charge it to your room ) Beach was across the road. I would stay here again.
