Just got back from a 3 day stay at this hotel. It is right on the strip so very convenient. The room was well tended to and was quickly upgraded to a balcony beach view. Very nice. In fact, the staff was exceptional and were always helpful and friendly plus made good recommendations on local fare. Unfortunately, there were a couple of key downsides to this hotel. One, the pool was always crowded perhaps due to it being small. That leads to problem #2: beach access. While access to the beach is guaranteed you do have to pay additional for the chairs and umbrellas. I'm surprised they didn't charge for the towels. SMH! Lastly, while you expect the food and drinks in hotels to be overpriced, the main problem here was the fact that drinks had very little liquor and ended up tasting like slushies. This is coming from a casual drinker who rarely drinks more than 2 drinks per sitting. I would recommend this hotel because of its prime location and wonderful staff but beware of those ridiculous beach charges and overpriced and poor drinks.
