We had a friends reunion with 11 of us staying here for the long weekend. The hotel is beautiful, the pool and beach are fantastic. The rooms are great - they have Keurig coffee machines in the room which is a great way to start the day. The hotel staff is efficient but their tone and focus is more on keeping you in line rather than have you enjoy the stay. Thanks to a La Carte pricing costs can add up including the $40/day valet, $10.0 for workouts, $10+ for internet access etc etc. Some tips to save money:
1) There is a parking garage at 'Anchor Shops and Garage' which charges $15/day right across from the hotel at 16th St and Collins.
2) Breakfast just outside the hotel at 'Aroma Espresso Bar' is just $5.0 for eggs, toast and coffee
3) Take a walk along Ocean Blvd for sightseeing and people watching but eat on Lincoln or
Espanola Way for a quiet dinner.
4) One can go for a run/jog on the beach or a paved walking path along the beach.
Still a great location being right on the beach and the middle of all action. More for couples and singles rather than families.

Room Tip: Rooms with 921/925 have a view of the ocean as well as the city.

Very small double beds, it does not accomodate two adults in one bed. This hotel claims a double bed that is the size of a big single bed in europe (130cm). if you can sleep on that you are welcome to stay. It doesent matter how nice the hotels look when you are not able to sleep. Do not travel here with children. We were not the only once who complained about the beds, but the management claimed it was a european thing... Everything costs money. The beach has nice sand but there is quite big waves that is not suitable for children.

Stayed here one night for a business meeting. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Front desk staff was quick and efficient, room service was a bit delayed because of a big event but they beat their estimated delivery time and the food was served hot. Meeting facilities were very good, staff was on top of monitoring the meeting rooms, luncheon was typical banquet style and acceptable.

Can't comment on the pools or beach access.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms are located in an adjacent tower with no ramps for rolling luggage, so if you'...

Really subpar in comparison to other similarly-rated resorts. Front desk staff was incredibly un-accommodating- there was no room available upon check in (well after check out time) and the staff did nothing to compensate, or even try to act apologetic. I was simply told to wait in the bar until something became available, with absolutely no apology or attempt to make it right for me. Service in general was rude and inhospitable. Room was not impressive, quite small and although I was inconvenienced upon trying to check in, was given a standard room with no view and no balcony although I had requested one. Will absolutely not be returning. This hotel does not care about its guests.

Stayed in Loews for our honeymoon. The rooms were beautiful plush and big, we only had a standard room but it was huge and very nice. Service throughout was great and the hotel was lovely inside and out with fabulous pool area with great amenities such as suntan lotion and free towels and water. Food was delicious throughout. Only criticisms were bedroom walls were a bit thin and we seemed to have a very loud family next to us who came back late every night, and food etc was expensive- more expensive than top london hotels we've stayed in but at least you weren't disappointed for the quality of what you received! Overall fab.

However, at Loews Miami Beach Hotel, offering up the BEST service possible is our number goal and we are thrilled that we achieved that with you during your recent visit. We wanted a relaxing vacation without having to worry about anything. That is exactly what you get here. Everyone was friendly from the moment you walk in the door. From the housekeeping staff to the concierge, everyone was helpful and easygoing. As others have said, the pool and location are great, but it is the little things that made it special. They have water with fruit in it sitting around, bring around yogurt covered pretzels, and hand out smoothies and icees. Food and drinks are expensive but that is to be expected at an upscale hotel in this area. The mojito was probably worth the price! There is a Walgreens and French bakery just down the street and plenty of places to eat on Ocean Drive. We paid for an ocean view with a balcony. It overlooked the roof of another building (which was quite noisy with air conditioning units) but still looked nice especially when relaxing on the loveseat inside. The pool was open 24 hours which was nice to visit after dinner. It was really crowded one day with a conference in town, but was fine the others. We used our dinner credits from the promotion on the amazing sushi. I would definitely recommend this place.

Thank you for taking the time to post such a great recap of your recent stay. You really captured every aspect of the hotel from our ideal location in the heart of South Beach, to the top-notch amenities we have to have and our staff. We hope your travels bring you back again soon to South Beach and our hotel.

Honestly, the worst hotel stay in Miami. The price is definitely not worth the hotel or staff. Hotel is non-smoking, but someone in the hotel was smoking and I had to call down to the front desk numerous times to get moved which I asked (was not offered). Literally, the whole vacation was spent arguing about the stay and the lack of customer service. Still fighting charges on my bill as well.

I would pay a little more to stay somewhere else. Will not stay at the hotel ever again.
