Food was awesome - fish was fresh and everything was nicely prepared. Loved the green sauce they served and the bread too. I would definitely go back - reasonable prices for the quality of the food. You should definitely give it a try.

After getting bored of the usual tourist traps on Collins avenue I found this place on the Internet. A short walk from my hotel, it looks like a small diner or family run restaurant. Was seated immediately by a very smiley waitress. Ordered some ceviche to start which was lovely and grilled fish with tomato and garlic sauce and fries for main. It was thoroughly delicious. Really felt home made, a huge portion delivered with a smile. A couple of cokes and the whole meal came to less that a couple of starters on Collins avenue. Attentive service , tasty food, central and well priced.

So we had eaten on the main strip for the past 2 days. I was tired of it. Over priced pasta and burgers and drinks. The same boring American food I can get back home. So we hit up trip advisor to try something local. This place sounded great and was priced right. We head in but waited about 10 min with out even a hello, Finally we sat down service was slow. Took 10 min to get drinks. I have never had Peruvian food and was quite impressed. The food was amazing. The prices are fair and the portions are very big. Beer is respectable at around 3$ a bottle. I would come back in a heartbeat. Better than the food on Collins when looking for a change from burgers and pasta come here for some authentic food.

Keep in mind that to me, when it comes to the restaurant, food comes first and decor comes second. From the outside, it looks like a regular diner. However, the food there is so tasty and has a lot of variety. Try their papaya milk. It is delicious. The price is very reasonable. Their portion is kind of large, so make sure you bring couple of friends to share.
