Owner description: An area of Miami Beach noted for its concentration of over 800 Art Deco buildings all within one square mile. Consider joining the walking tour which takes you past the white- and pastel-colored stucco buildings beautifully restored to their former splendor thanks to the Miami Design Preservation League.

ok must wear comfortable walking shoes and sandals don't count for 2-4 hours of walking - crowded at times and not much shade, unless you walk on the restaurant side of Ocean Av. underneath the 1 person wide ,umbrellas lined street...

across Ocean ,by Lummus park was a better option and better for picture taking - everyone must at least once - walked during the NIGHT when the lights and crazy people are out...the art deco bldg take on a different 'life'

highly recommend to take a tour of the art deco bdlgs for in=depth history behind the area...

We had limited time in Miami and our walk around the Art deco district was an excellent experience and I would fully recommend if you have an interest in architecture. The walk along Ocean Drive opens the eyes to many sights of a structural an human nature!

A funky must-visit place in Miami along Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue. Great bars, restaurants, beach and plenty of atmosphere. If you are going to Miami, you must go here.

Stayed in the Art Deco district. Loved walking on the different streets and looking at the buildings. Appreciate the efforts to preserve the architecture while providing modern conveniences.

Good for people and vehicle watching be it day or night. Right in the middle of the action. Lovely architecture and ocean walk. Loads of places to eat/drink. Holds some good memories.
