Owner description: An area of Miami Beach noted for its concentration of over 800 Art Deco buildings all within one square mile. Consider joining the walking tour which takes you past the white- and pastel-colored stucco buildings beautifully restored to their former splendor thanks to the Miami Design Preservation League.

“Too much crowd”
Reviewed December 25, 2013

Very hard to find parking.
The walk was okay. Better go there with a walking tour than go by yourself.
And yes, there were a lot of people walking around, which made the experience less pleasant.
The buildings do look fantastic.

“Beautiful Historic Buildings”
Reviewed December 22, 2013

If you are into architecture, then this is the place for you! Blocks of historic art deco buildings that are restored or in the process of restoration. A great walk along Ocean Avenue with hotels on one side and the beach on the other!

“Lively but pricey”
Reviewed December 18, 2013

The buildings are of the Art Deco style and are lit up at night - beautiful. Lots of restaurants and bars but pricey.

“Construction Mess”
Reviewed December 17, 2013

Some sidewalks were closed, and lanes closed making traveling thru a nightmare. I didn't feel safe or comfortable after dark, with the uneven surface of the streets, and the resulting lack of other people.
