“An Architectural Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2013

To walk around the area of 17th street and view the tastefully executed buildings is a great experience. The renaissance that took place to restore this lovely area will leave you visually satisfied.

“Nice area to walk but that's it”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2013

We liked the Art Deco style in the area but that's about it. The whole pavement is covered by noicy bars and restaurants, all playing loud disco music. At every location you have person(s) who try to stop you for drinks or food with annoying style like directly from any TV commercial.

“Depends on your taste”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2013

Most people either love or hate Art Deco architecture. Ocean Drive has the most extensive array of Art Deco hotels but there are a number on Collins avenue too. Most buildings have been tastefully refurbished so if you like this style it's there in abundance.

“Love DECO-come to Miami Beach!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 7, 2013

Art Deco is alive and well in South Beach. Get out of your car and take time to stroll along the avenue and enjoy beauty! Beware of skateboarders who sometime use the sidewalks for their playground.

“Art Deco District is fabulous”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2013

These buildings are a genuine treasure. They are beautifully restored and painted in "fun" colors. I loved them. It is wonderful to see such a magnificent collection of Art Deco buildings. In addition, there are lots of restaurants, nightlife and the beach is close by. Everything is within walking distance.
