“Great food and service”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

The food was delicious. It's less touristy and expensive then most South Beach restaurants. We were new to Peruvian food and the staff was very friendly and helpful in picking out traditional food.

“A Second Visit a Year Later”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

A bit disappointing but still worth the trip. Small (really small) chicken portions, but still the unique Peruvian roast chicken flavor. Aji Amarillo Sauce and Green Sauces were bland. Ceviche - a beautiful presentation and good but nothing out of the ordinary. With that said, still seek out this restaurant. Just the unique Peruvian recipes will worth the trip.

“The best kept secret in Miami”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

As we were walking though the city of Miami on South Beach, we came across a small restaurant whose enticing aromas came waffling through there doors. As we looked at the sign we saw that it sold only peruvian food. This restaurant is not on the touristy Ocean St., but on Washington avenue between 9th and 10th st. We tried the anticuchos and the Aji de Gallina.
Both were superb and flavorful. In San Antonio we have only one restaurant that sell authentic Peruvian food and I can say that this was actually better. For a nightcap we tried their pisco sour which was tart with the right mix of sweetness. It was the best alcoholic drink I had on my visit to Miami. This is one place everyone should try if they are looking for a different type if restaurant other than the mainstays on Ocean St.

“Very Disappointed, Sorry we went”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

This restaurant was recommended by a traveler we had breakfast next to one day. The food was very salty and we did not enjoy the experience or the dinner. It would be hard for me to encourage someone to eat here.

“Distinctive and good!”
Reviewed August 12, 2012

Five Stars?

Oh yeah! The food here really is awesome. The Ceviche Mixto is pretty good, but the Sudado de pescado is some of the best fish ever!!!! We also tried the Tallarin saltado de mariacos, and tamale - all excellent.

On another visit we tried the chicken platter (with amazing black beans!), then on a third visit we tried a few more dishes.

Come in and expand your taste buds, it is yummy.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the plastic tables, neon lights and sound track are a bit odd, but it all seems to work.

There is some pretty cool stuff on the menu, this place is absolutely worth checking out. Oh yeah, you can order to take out as well. Perfect snack for the beach!!

And the Goyo's Mojito is pretty unusual and worth a try!
