I came to South Beach for a reunion weekend and chose not to stay at the hotel where most of my friends were staying because it was not rated well-enough and had a dj that played until 5 AM. The Hotel was a welcome respite from the craziness of South Beach. The rooms were well-appointed and clean and stylish. The bathrooms were clean. The property is in two older building, so the walls are thin and you can hear people coming in late. But, that is what you are in for if you are staying in the middle of South Beach. The room service was good and not super over priced. The concierges were super helpful as was the rest of the staff.
