Great location on South Beach, and modern decor, however, room was SMALL and view was non-existent. Breakfast was very basic - preferred to go to Maxine's across the Street. No one ate or drank at the hotel, so not necessarily a vibrant scene. Spa was okay - nothing to rave about. Beach staff was very helpful. Right next to the Delano and SLS, which had restaurants and a much better vibe/scene. I've stayed at lots of other hotels on South Beach (including the Ritz) down the block, which I personally liked better, as there were things to do and places to eat at the hotel / there was an ambiance. This hotel is mostly for those who just need a good location to sleep at and want to go to the beach - there's no other reason to stay here.

Spent two weekend nights here in early April with husband and two young sons. Stayed in an oceanfront 1 BR suite. Beautiful view of the ocean (and the rooftops of the surrounding hotels), although the property is set back quite far from the beach. The staff members were all friendly and accommodating; housekeeping arrived very quickly to turn down the pull-out sofa bed. Room service snacks arrived promptly and the food was very good. The room was clean and large. One strange aspect was that the glass french doors between the bedroom and living area don't have curtains, so it was a little difficult to keep the lights/tv on in the bedroom while the little ones were trying to sleep in the living area.

There were only two drawbacks to our stay. First, there was very loud and disruptive music from the property next door on Saturday night, which continued past midnight. This obviously is an ongoing situation, as seen from previous reviews. When I complained to management the next day, their response satisfied me, although at the time the music was really disturbing. If you are a light sleeper, you might not want to stay on a Saturday. Also, the cost to rent beach chairs and umbrella ($10 and $15, respectively) seemed incredibly high to me, particularly given the already high cost of the room.

Overall, a nice stay. I would probably stay again, but I'd be wary of weekend noise.

Room Tip: Request a room on the top floor -- ceilings in the room are extra high.

Great location, friendly staff & clean. Room's are very spacious, not your typical hotel room. Arrived Friday and was given room to use until ours was ready. Was able to have a late check out until 5pm with no charge since my flight was late. Pool nice. Staff very helpful. Restaurants are nearby as well as shopping. Food & drink service at the beach which is great. Dwight the manager was so nice and was around to check and see how you were doing, even came down to the beach in his suit.

Room Tip: Ocean front is better than garden view

I just got back from a girls' weekend at the Sagamore. The staff was so friendly and very helpful...they really make your stay more enjoyable. Dwight the manager was the best!! He goes out of his way to make sure you are taken care of. The rooms are beautiful and location is perfect. You are close to restaurants, shopping and night life. I would highly recommend staying at the Sagamore and can't wait to go back!!

The Sagamore was a very nice hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms where enormous and very comfortable. Our room had 2 queen size beds, a living room with a large L shaped pull out couch. It had a small kitchenette with a stove microwave and full size fridge. The pool was small but nice. It did not seem like the party hotel that some of the surrounding hotels sounded like. The beach was very easy to get to from the hotel and was awesome. For the cost and the size of the room to share with ppl was easy. The location was right on the beach and near all the other hotels on south beach.

Christopher S,

Thanks for your feedback after your visit with us. We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay with us. The size of our suites is definitely one of our major benefits and can also be appreciated more when sharing the room with several people.

Our hotel does not have a huge party scene but its proximity to the many areas around that do offers the perfect balance as it can be the tranquil retreat necessary after a day or night of enjoying the clubs and bars in the area.

We thank you again for choosing our property and hope you will be back soon!

The Sagamore is really nice gem with a great location on Collins Avenue in South Beach. Located opposite Lincoln Road, the location is perfect. The hotel is low key, clean, and filled with amazing art; photos, murals, sculpture, paintings and other cool things. Its a scene but not a scene.

Rooms are spacious compared to other quality hotels on South Beach. I had a one bedroom suite with a separate bedroom, sectional sofa in the main room with nice large flatscreen, eating and working bar, and other nice amenities.

The pool is great, nice patio area, nice area for lunch by the pool and located on the beach.

I highly recommend this hotel for business, families (though not a true resort), and fun with
friends.

The only weak spot I noted was the gym area was very small and limited. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay for 2 nights

Room Tip: Make sure you have a one bedroom suite

Let me start by saying my husband and I are regulars in Southbeach! We have stayed at many places in Southbeach. Although we do have a few favorites, when we bring our children, hands down, we love the Sagamore! Just got back from Spring Break where we stayed in a Bungalow by the pool. The bungalows are huge! Two stories, plenty of room for our entire family of five! They are super clean and very nice. For the price of what we got, this cant be beat! We have done a regular suite before and that was good as well but the bungalows are the best, if you can get one, and most convenient for the kids. The big boys could go to pool without us because we were so close!! From the service at the front desk (they arranged so much) to the maid service (we would call for something and they would be right there!), to the service at pool (especially Micky and the awesome cocktails he made for us) it was a great stay! I would highly recommend to anyone, but with the "all suites factor" it's the best place for a family! Quiet, relaxing, great service, wonderful! We will defiantly be back!

MistyM366.

Thanks for your review of Sagamore. We are very happy that you and your family had such a wonderful stay here with us in one of our bungalows. The bungalow is definitely one of the better options if traveling with a family as they are over 900 square feet and also offer plenty of privacy with the bedroom being upstairs and the living area with pull out sofa downstairs.

Our pool area is also perfect for children with its zero access entry. I will be very happy to share your kind words with all the departments mentioned as it is clear that our entire staff played a key role in providing you and your family such a memorable Sagamore experience.

We look forward to the next opportunity to have you and your family here with us at Sagamore!
